Excelent planning, knowledge and attention. Jair and Pablo are second to none. The cenotes were an incredible experience. Lunch was very good and the venue and service of the local people was excellent

This tour was well run, on time and the transportation was comfortable. The first cenote we visited a small family run cenote that was really interesting. Our group was the only one there and we really enjoyed that visit. The second/third cenotes (they are connected by a tunnel which unfortunately was closed that day) were much more commercialized and extremely crowded. There were two busloads from a cruise ship there and it was so loud it wasn't very enjoyable. However on the positive side the tour guide from the cruise ship gave a lot of interesting commentary and told us the history of the cenote and even had the cenote operator turn off all of the lights for a few minutes which was really cool. Our tour guide was efficient but really did not engage with us very much. The last cenote was fine but by then I think we cenoted out! Lunch was good and we did enjoy having some time to lounge by the outdoor pool at the last cenote. If I had to do it over again I would probably try to go on my own and go to less commercialized cenotes.

  • Great day, excellent guide, beautiful places.

A really excellent day! We loved each of the 4 cenotes — each unique and lovely in their own ways. The Our guide Mauricio was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable about the region, the history, and the people of the Yucatán peninsula. He also always looked for things that might interest us along the driving route. Highly recommend this trip with Viajes Colibri.

We had a great bilingual guide Mauricio. He knew a lot and was very attentive and always there to help or to explain something. The Cenotes itself were beautiful, especially the first one.

The cenotes were our KEY experience of the Yukatan. We had a lovely trip with this company. Our guy was awesome: caring and funny. The cenotes are terrific! You should bring water shoes. Don't get too excited about the lunch, as it is very mediocre. But that's not really the point, anyway. It was fun to travel with other folks and get to know them. A really fun day that was well-structured and light-hearted.

  • A great day in the Cenotes!

The experience of the tour was very good, the staff was very attentive, from the first moment they communicated with us to let us know when they were going to reach the meeting point, and passed just in time. Our guide, Michel, explained the points of the tour, the history of the cenotes and the instructions to enter each of them. All the cenotes were lovely, and in all the visit was pleasant. The food in the end was delicious and in a nice place, in general we had a great time with the El Colibri Tours, I recommend the visit.

It was a nice day. The cenotes were fantastic. The guide was excellent. I was the only native English speaker and could understand his Spanish but he made sure I understood everything. He expertly handled a very difficult situation with a 20 year old girl on our tour who decided that having 10 tequila shots was a good idea.
