Tours run rain, hail (snow), or shine. Due to the variability of mountain weather, chances are the weather will change quite often during the 4-day tour. Absolutely fantastic tour - found the company just by googling cycle tours in the area and feel SO GLAD I chose Mountain Madness for so many reasons: 1) All details planned/taken care of for us - where to eat, where to stay, fun side excursions, cycling gear and accessories. 2) GORGEOUS scenery and expert-level knowledge on the route we did to guide us. 3) The ability to modify the trip as needed - I rode a regular bike while a friend rode an e-bike which worked out great for us to still cycle together (we also opted to sit in the van for part of a rainy morning). 4) Most of all, Ben is fantastic. Great guide, great company. Would highly recommend, and I hope to come back and do this same tour again in the future! Multiple of the people on the trip had done this exact tour before which is evidence of how fantastic it is.

I completed a supported Jasper to Banff bike trip with Mountain Madness. I can't say enough about how well organized it was. Ben was an amazing guide - every thing was taken care of and we could just ride and enjoy the spectacular scenery. I can't recommend this tour highly enough. Also, the drivers on the Icefields Parkway were most accommodating and I was never concerned. Did I mention the scenery?

Words cannot describe the beauty of the Canadian Rockies, and the wonder of biking in the region was made possible with this well organized tour. This ride starts and ends with Ben. He is very accommodating, very communicative, and just plain nice. He even had the forethought to order up the perfect weather for our ride. The bikes are comfortable and well-maintained, and even when there was an issue, Ben is quite the bike mechanic and able to fix most issues on the spot. As other riders have mentioned, the food was outstanding at all stops. Lunch was hearty, and snacks were plentiful. This ride was on my bucket list for several years and I am thrilled that I got to complete this ride with Ben as my tour guide. He also has fantastic post-ride excursions to further your experience in the Rockies. In short, Ben gets a 10+/10 rating. Thanks BEN! for a fantastic tour.

This trip was a perfect experience of cycling through the Rockies. Ben had every detail organized, including excellent bikes for climbing grades and we were provided detailed overviews before we set out. He had all of our needs covered, including snacks, hydration, meals and accommodations. The cycling was challenging but very doable., and Ben has e-bikes for anyone who needs them. The views made the kilometres pass quickly. I came home with great pictures and some new friends.

I recently did a supported Jasper to Banff bike trip with Mountain Madness and it was amazing. The scenery was unreal, the e-bikes provided were great (and made the ride very accessible). Ben is a fantastic guide—organized, upbeat, and supportive. Everything was so well-planned. The whole experience is hard to put into words, honestly—just an incredible way to see the Rockies. Highly recommend.

Wow! We have lived in Alberta all our lives and thought we were familiar with its beauty. Somehow on the many trips up and down the Icefields Parkway either to Jasper, Lake Louise or Banff to go skiing we continually blew past the “ tourist attractions” in pursuit of powder. What a mistake! Thanks to Ben and his seamless mastery of the bike tour we were treated to an experience we will never forget. The route, accommodations, the meals, the snacks and the great companions that we met on our trip made for an amazing four days. Now we know why tourists from around the globe flock to the Alberta Rockies!

We spent 5 days with Ben cycling and bit of hiking in Banff area. When the unfortunate forest fires happened in Jasper, Ben took the initiative and modified our itinerary to ride from Rocky Mountain House towards Crossing . We joined back the original itinerary for the last 2 days. We didn’t see any smoke or fires. Our rides were thrilling. Ben is a good manager and guide and he did a great job supporting our rides. Everything was seem less and his support catered to all in our group. I strongly recommend mountian madness for your riding trips in Banff area and Ben with his stories of what we do everyday, made it very comfortable and enjoyable.

The 4 day tour from Jasper to Banff was an amazing experience. This was the first time I'd ever ridden multiple days and the first time climbing mountains. The route, rest stops, support, dining and lodging were very well organized and allowed me to simply enjoy the scenery and riding while soaking up the whole experience. It was an experience of a lifetime!

My husband and I have done the Mountain Madness Jasper to Banff tour multiple times, once on our own hybrid bikes (nothing) special and a couple of times on rented e-bikes (which makes the two long days and "big bumps" a lot easier). The trip is fantastic: spectacular scenery (mountains, rivers, waterfalls, maybe some wildlife), ample rest stops (with great snacks and plenty of facilities along the way), good food and accommodations, and superb service. The tour groups are relatively small, and the other riders have always been friendly and fun. We've done many bike tours in various places, and this one is our favourite.
