R 62 nel Klein Karoo

Depart from Cape Town on the N1 route eventually joining the R62 Wine Route to Oudtshoorn. This route takes you past the many towns which include Montagu and Robertson. We also travel on the Little Karoo Region. We travel until we reach Oudtshoorn

Cango Caves

In the afternoon we go on a guided tour of the stunning Cango Caves. In Botlierskop we go on a guided 4x4 game safari. This is a wonderful experience as we get to see a lot of wildlife include some of Africa's Big 5, lions, elephants, buffalo, rhino and much more. In late afternoon, you can go on a sunset boat cruise in the Knysna Lagoon. This is an own cost activity, costs $20-00. After breakfast we start with a tour of Knysna Heads. A tour of the Knysna Heads offers breathtaking views of one of South Africa’s most iconic coastal landmarks. These two towering sandstone cliffs guard the entrance to the Knysna Lagoon, where the Indian Ocean meets the tranquil waters of the estuary. From Knysna Heads we proceed to Robberg Nature Reserve where we do hiking. Robberg Nature Reserve is probably the most beautiful nature reserve in South Africa. Located near Plettenberg Bay, the reserve features well-marked trails that wind along rugged cliffs, golden beaches, and ancient caves. We also go to Bloukrans Bridge where you can do bungy jumping. This is an own cost activity - cost $50-00 per person. From Hermanus we proceed to Benguela Cove Wine Estate where we do wine tasting of 5 top wines. From Benguela Cove Wine Estate we proceed to Betty's Bay where we see the African Penguins. Viewing African penguins in Betty's Bay is a captivating experience that brings you up close to one of South Africa's most endearing wildlife species. Located at the Stony Point Nature Reserve, the colony is one of the largest breeding sites for these charming birds. As you walk along the boardwalks, you can observe the penguins in their natural habitat, waddling along the rocky shoreline, diving into the ocean, or tending to their nests. Cape Town

Traveling along the Whale Coast from Betty's Bay to Cape Town offers a stunning journey through South Africa's scenic splendor.
