  • The altitude is challenging. Stay at least two days in Cuzco before the start of the hike. Our first day was rough😅

Had the privilege to do the Lares mountain and the inka trail with Wonders of Peru/ Percy. It was a great experience from the beginning to the very end. Percy is a great guide and fixes everything so you don’t have to worry about a thing. The chef and the horsemen’s worked hard and delivered quality during the whole hike. Big recommend! Also, the scenery you’ll witness during your time in the mountains can’t be beaten.

Percy started the adventure with very convenient pickup from my hotel and the entire trip went smoothly from there. I’ve travelled many countries and Percy is my favorite tour guide. I would go so far as to say that you cannot go to Machu Picchu without using Percy as your guide!! He brought a local flare and true reverence for the nature, food and animals we saw along the way. I would change nothing about my experience with him and can’t wait to get back again!!

We will never forget this tour in our entire life. Everything was perfectly organized, the food was so great, the trek was breathtaking and the whole tour was simply unforgettable. We booked as a couple and in the end there were four of us with our guide Percy. A super great, very intimate and personal group and Percy was just amazing: He was able to explain everything to us, whether it was about vegetation, historical or cultural issues. And he is not only extremely well informed, but also takes care of everyone's well-being around the clock. He notices immediately if a person is is not feeling well due to the altitude, for example. So I also felt 100% safe all the time. I can't put into words how amazing this adventure was and how grateful I am to Percy for making it possible for us. Thank you so much again! He is truly the best guide in whole of South America!!!

Percy was an amazing tour guide on excursion of Machu Picchu! Not only did he educate us on the historical background of Machu Picchu and Peru but he also made it fun! Percy was very thorough with communication. He even went to dinner with us before our hike to get to know us. As he got to know us, he discovered some places that we would be interested in seeing in Cuzco and even pivoted the trip to add those stops in! Percy made our few days together some of our best memories of our trip. All 4 of us in our group were extremely happy and adamantly recommend Percy! We highly recommend to book with Percy if you are thinking of having an adventure in Peru!
