Machu Picchu

Very early in the morning, by bus or trekking, we will finally be at one of the new wonders of the world. Machu Picchu will be all yours (if you trek) because you´ll be the first to arrive there; even before the Inca trail trekkers! Once there if you are in the right time you´ll enjoy the sunrise and start the 2 hours guided tour where you´ll learn every single secret, every single tale and every fact about the Inca citadele. After that you can decide whether climb Hauyna Picchu or Machu Picchu mountain or visit the Sun Gate or the Inca Bridge. The Machu Picchu entrance check point is open from 06:00 AM until 17:00 PM. Around 1 pm most of the people is done. And take the bus back (we all finish really tired) to Aguas calientes. There you can have lunch in any of the really good restaurants there, maybe visit the museum or just chill waiting for the train and transport back to Cusco.

  • Classic 4day Camino Inka-Inka Trail to Machu Pichu

This was an amazing experience hiking 4day Camino Inka - Inka Trail. It was not an easy hike, but every step was worth of effort with the beautiful scenery and rich Inka history. We were really happy with the Valencia Travel! Our guide Luis and his team were just unbelievable! Luis was so great and helpful at every step of the trail. He figured out the best pace for us and knew exactly when was the right time to take a break. He is very knowledgeable of Inka history and we loved how he spoke about his Inka people. It seemed to us that he really enjoyed and loves the job he is doing. His team, porters and cook were great. With all of them we felt like family. We specially want to mention our amazing chef Gregorio who made every meal so tasty and well balanced. Luis and his team are just amazing and I feel like 5 stars is not enough. They deserve Michelin star!

Oh my goodness, I had an absolutely incredible experience! From the moment we booked the trip with Aracely, we were greeted by our super friendly and knowledgeable guide, Carlos Caceres. This camping trip is a must-do if you’re looking for a hassle-free way to explore real villages away from the crowds. The camping equipment they provided was top-notch, and the food was absolutely delicious! Every day was a different dish, and I couldn’t believe how well they cook in the wild. A huge shoutout to Gregorio, our cook, the porteros, Carmelo, Valentin and Fausto for their hard work and dedication. Carlos Caceres was an absolute gem as our guide. He allowed us to move at our own pace, especially after climbing 4000 meters, and was always prepared for any emergency. His knowledge of the region’s flora and fauna was truly impressive, and he always gave us a full explanation of everything we saw. And let’s not forget his cultural and historical insights in Machu Picchu! It was truly awe-inspiring. Overall, our expectations were far exceeded, and we had an amazing time. If you’re planning your next adventure, I highly recommend Carlos for your guide. You won’t be disappointed!

Our guide, Aldo, was outstanding. He was a fount of knowledge and had an impressive grasp of the local culture, as well as how best to approach touring Macchu Picchu. He knew when to move before the crowds, and his encouragement and pacing of the trek was excellent. The other staff on the trek were all very nice and accomodating, cheerful and helpful. Our experience would not have been the same without them.
