Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

The driver/guide from our company will meet and transfer you to the southwestern part of the country. Stop at the equator for landmark photo-taking and drive through Mbarara road. Break for lunch on the way then proceed to Bwindi impenetrable National Park the home of Mountain Gorillas. It is estimated to half of the world’s surviving population of mountain gorillas is shared by Uganda, Rwanda and Congo. The drive is long but enjoyable. Proceed to Buhoma while viewing the terraced hills of Kigezi Highlands once known as Switzerland of Africa. Then arrive at the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After breakfast with packed lunch, you will be escorted to the starting point for the briefing by the ranger staff and your guide. The time is taken and the terrain varies (1- 8 hours) this depends on the movement of these gentle giants. Do not forget to carry rainy coats and other items to protect your camera equipment. After the tracking, then we shall return to the lodge and check out, drive to Lake Bunyonyi for a relaxed evening with a spectacular view of the magnificent Lake Bunyonyi and reducing on the driving time of the next day.

Enjoy a relaxed day at Lake Bunyonyi one of the most beautiful lakes in Africa known for small birds and hundreds of spectacular islands., enjoy an evening boat trip on the lake to visit the historical islands in the lake.
