Pickup from the hotel early in the morning (around 8:30 am) and start our safari - transfer to Tarangire national park. This is one of the best kept secret’s of north circuit. The park covers an area of 2,850 sq km and it offers some unique and diverse landscapes. The permanent presence of water in the area makes it a good choice especially during the dry season (June - Oct, Dec - Feb) as plenty of wild animals migrate here. The park is home for big baobab trees, big mammals and especially elephants, as long as other carnivores. Lunch inside the park and afternoon game drive. Evening transfer to lodge.

5.00Exceptional experience. Andrew and his team were very accommodating and professional. They were very knowledgeable and provided great detail along the tour. Time of each was good despite the rhino being elusive. Eventually we spotted one in the gar distance.

5.00Our experience with this tour company was exceptional from start to finish. Communication beforehand was top-notch; they addressed all our questions and offered accommodations of our choice. Upon arrival, we were picked up and transported to our hotel, and throughout the trip, they were very attentive to our needs. During the safari, our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, answering all our questions about the animals, culture, and the country. The lunches provided were always warm, freshly cooked by the lodges, and served very cleanly with tablecloths, cutlery, and plates. The jeeps were in excellent condition, cleaned inside daily, and stocked with enough water and fruit for the journey. Our trip took us from Arusha to Tarangire National Park, then to Serengeti National Park, and finally to Ngorongoro National Park, including the Ngorongoro Crater, before returning. We were a group of eight, split into two jeeps, and they even organized a German-speaking guide to accompany us. The drivers were very polite and always ensured we were comfortable. We learned a lot and had many laughs along the way. We definitely recommend this tour company and would book with them again. Compared to other safari providers, we felt we had the best guides. It’s a small family-run business, which added a personal touch to the entire experience.

5.00We spent 4 days on safari with Relish of Africa, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment of booking until the end of the trip, we always felt comfortable and well taken care of. The experience was truly unique. We would gladly book with the same tour operator again and recommend them to anyone. Emanuel, Frank, and Dixon guided us perfectly throughout the 4 days. We received a lot of interesting information and were able to fully enjoy the sights of the wild animals. They were more than polite, attentive, and accommodating. Since our parents don't speak English, Dixon joined the tour and translated everything for them into German flawlessly. We wouldn't want to miss this shared adventure. A fantastic team! Thank you for everything! So glad you were our operator!

5.00We took a lot of time to review various Safari operators and we chose Relish of Africa because of their flexibility, excellent communication, value for money and, importanlty, reviews and tour options. We travelled as a family of 4 and we couldn't recommend Relish of Africa highly enough. Prior the trip, the management were very responsive and accomodating. On the day of our arrival to Kilimanjaro airport, they collected us from the airport. They came back to our accomodation that evening to explain everything in detail. They were so accomodating to our wishes, our dietary requirements, our parents etc. They even helped us to get some food/ drink that evening. The trip itself was fantastic. Our guide Emanuel was very very knowledgable, but also, a really nice and down to earth person you would look forward to having lunch with. Pascal, our chef, stood out from other chefs we could see at camps. He sourced local produce and provided us with fresh, cooked from scratch meals every day. We saw all the wildlife we could possibly imagine and more. And this is definitely not an accident. You do need tour guides who are engaged, knowledgable and willing to provide the best experience to their guests. This is what we felt all along and could not recommend Relish of Africa, our guide Emanuel and Pascal, highly enough. Thank you!

5.00There is a plenty of Safari organising companies in Tanzania. Some are big, some are small, some are local some are not. As I'm a travel planner control freak I have contacted around 30 to make sure I chose well. As one of only few Relish of Africa have read my proposed plan, they did not come back with an alternative, they have also understood our budget and helped with finding the best accommodation possible still within it. They were also very responsive, I was getting a reply to even the smallest question withing a couple of hours. They cater with no problem for our dietary requirement (two of us were vegan), and also helped out with renting last minute a proper camera with serious lens. Yes they are small company but that's why they listen to you, they go that extra mile to make the safari as memorable as its possible. By going with them, you are truly supporting local people, their family and community, not a company which runs from Amsterdam or Berlin. We (4 people) went on 6 days/5 nights safari trough Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Serengeti and Lake Natron. and it was EPIC!! We were accompanied by the guide Emmanuel "the eagle eye" and chef Pascal "the dancer", both men of many talents:) Their knowledge, the skills, the wit and the humour made this trip simply perfect. this is the easiest recommendation we all have ever made. We could not have been in better hands on our first ever African adventure and we will be back in the future for another safari in a different season:) Emanuel, Pascal, Andrew and Richard - Asante sana guys and all the best to you:)

The hotels were fantastic, our guide Frank was very knowledgeable & friendly, the balloon flight over the Sergengeti was fabulous. We would recommend Relish of Africa to all travelers looking for a luxurious vacation with custom service.

5.00This is Teemo from China. I contacted a lot of agencies on SafariBooking. Relish of Africa is the only one who carefully and efficiently replied our tour demand. We wanted to customized the tour and we changed ideas more than 10 times before we finally confirmed our entire trip, including hotels, locations, etc. The office manager Andrew always gave us the best plan in 1-2 days. We are a huge team of 10 people from China, and Relish of Africa sent 3 guides and 2 ORV cars altogether to keep the tour funny and safe. I would like to thank Frank and Mathias specially again, Frank is a handsome guide who has over 11 experience in exploring Serengeti, he could always find those animals which were really difficult to be found. Mathias is a really nice manager who accompanied us all the way. Most importantly, their prices are much much more reasonable. Thanks Relish of Africa, I would definitely recommend your team to my friends in China who are looking for an amazing tour in Tanzania.
