Your private 4-day Sahara Desert trip takes you into one of the wildest environments on the planet. A place of intense beauty and utter silences, you will never forget your time in the Sahara. You will be touring Morocco in our comfortable SUV car/ Minivan equipped with AC. Your private guide/driver speaks fluent English and knows Morocco like the back of his hand. During your 4 days trip, you will be accommodated at the best hotels/Riads to have the best travel experience. In the Sahara Desert, you will enjoy a camel ride and overnight in a luxury camp equipped with western bathrooms and hot showers.

You will be met at your hotel and set off for Ouarzazate. We cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi-n-Tichka Pass, which at an altitude of 2260m . You will enjoy amazing views of this fascinating landscape and the Berber villages it contains and see the Telouet Kasbah, one-time residence of the pasha of Marrakesh. Continuing south we arrive at the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, probably the most celebrated, filmed and photographed Kasbah in Morocco. Featured in numerous films (including Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator...), it is the best-preserved Kasbah in Morocco and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Arriving in Ouarzazate with the famous Atlas Film Studios and two other interesting Kasbahs – Taourirt and Tiffoultoute – overnight in a hotel/Riad.

After breakfast, we will take the Agdz road along the Draa Valley – the longest in Morocco. En route you will notice the Berber mud-built Kasbahs in the valley and the beautiful oases as we pass through many different small towns and villages. We will stop for lunch in Rissani where you can try traditionally-baked Berber pizza. In the late afternoon, you will arrive in Merzouga. You will meet your camel guide who will take you across the sand dunes to a Bedouin luxury camp where you will stay overnight and enjoy the spectacular view of the thousands of stars

After experiencing a magical sunrise in the desert, you will have a leisurely breakfast and a shower at the camp. We then set off for Erfoud – fossil town. Here you will see stalls selling crystals and semi-precious stones as well as fossils. The workshop Usine de Marmar is open to visitors. We then travel through Todra Gorge, a narrow corridor with sheer cliffs 300m (985ft) high rising up dramatically on each side. These are the most impressive cliffs in southern Morocco and they are well known to experienced mountaineers. Here you will have lunch before continuing to the Dades Valley where you will see some impressive rock formations known by locals as “monkey toes” as well as interesting mud Kasbahs. Then an overnight stay in a hotel or riad overlooking the Dades Valley.

Vallee Des Roses
Your first stop will be at Kelaa M’Gouna up to 4000 tonnes of rose petals are picked every spring to be processed into rosewater or exported for the perfume industry. The Rose Festival is held here in May. You will continue via Skoura which is surrounded by an impressive palm grove and the most beautiful Kasbahs in southern Morocco are to be found here. Crossing the mountains via the Tizi n Tichka pass, we will arrive in Marrakesh where your trip ends.

5.00An amazing experience! The trip was a true adventure—stress-free and fantastic in every way. It was great getting to know the other people joining the trip, which made it even more special. Everything was well-organized and handled professionally. Communication was clear, and our tour guide, Younes, did a fantastic job. I had the chance to see the authentic side of Morocco, beautiful nature, and take part in many incredible activities. Definitely worth the money. Would 100% recommend.

The breathtaking scenery created unforgettable moments and Amar’s personable approach added a special touch to the experience, making it truly excellent. Though our time in the Sahara was brief, Barrak our host at Palmyra Luxury Camp, shared captivating insights into nomadic life, adding a very special touch to our experience. Our only regret was not spending more time in the Sahara and utilizing Amar for the majority of our trip.

In the process leading up to our trip they were responsive to our feedback, outstanding in their planning and clear on every detail. Once we landed it was a completely personalized experience where we felt we had the perfect amount of attention and autonomy. Omar was our guide to the Sahara and by the end of the trip he felt like a member of our family. We learned so much, experienced such rich culture and loved every aspect of our trip. Thank you so much to Said and Omar for making this trip so outstanding. Our key highlight was the Sahara featuring Palmyra Luxury Camp. 5.00Having traveled extensively throughout Asia pre pandemic, my husband and I knew we wanted a personalised tour that catered to our wants and needs. We did thorough research on all tours travelling through Morocco and came across Deep Morocco Tours. We emailed them on a Saturday from Australia and within the space of half an hour we had the most lovely reply from Said. His promptness and willingness to answer any questions we had was the major selling point for us choosing to go with Deep Morocco Tours. After some further correspondence we asked him to give us some referees of previous clients - all of which gave him and his company the highest of accolades. Due to this, we added to our original 4 day tour and ended up having a 9-day experience with his company. Everything was organised for us - from pick up and drop off at the airport, the fantastic accommodation that was chosen for us, to our wonderful driver Hamid and to the guides we had in Marrakech and Fes. The ability to say to our driver, can we stop here for photos? or no, we're not interested in visiting the film studios we'd prefer to see the nearby Kasbah was very much appreciated. We went from the medina and sights around Marrakech to driving across the High Atlas Mountains to Ait Ben Heddou to the Dades and Todra Gorges (wow!!) to the Sahara Desert to Fes and more Medina shopping, then on to Chefchaouen and the blue city then back to Marrakech via Rabat. A lot of driving but so much to see and do. Our car was an 8-seater Mercedes van driven expertly and competently by Hamid who answered every question we threw at him. Our comfort was his priority and nothing was ever a problem for him. There were so many highlights on our trip - from the every changing landscape, to the ancient ruins, to the trek to the Sahara for our overnight stay. Everything was top class and so much fun. We have no hesitation in recommending Deep Morocco Tours and Said to organise your experience in Morocco. We definitely will be returning.

5.00Magical! If you’ve longed to immerse yourself in an exotic World far from home, then Morocco should be among your top destinations to adventure to. And we found no better Private Tour and Guide experience then Deep Morocco Tours operated by Said and Omar. As Moroccan Berber natives their wealth of knowledge and insight into the Country from ancient medinas to Luxury Desert camps made planning and traveling easy. The Cultural insights that were shared along the way and the thoughtfulness of their efforts to ensure everything went smoothly was very much appreciated.
