I cannot recommend Bamboo Eco tours highly enough! Edison is one of the, if not the best tour company owners I have seen. He is prompt, precise, respectful, kind in communication. He simply answers with the exact right information you ask. No trying to push you for anything no asking for favors (like writing a review on TripAdvisor ;) He just does his job as it should be done in a decent world. Not only that, Bamboo Ecotours prices are competitive and they take credit cards at no extra charge, don't ask for a deposit in advance to profit from any misfortune you might have (apart from the gorilla permit which is of course normal as they are non-refundable). I finally would like to give a shout out to my nice driver-guide Amanya. (By the way, I want to mention that he noted, during a conversation, that Edison was a caring boss as well, not binding his guides when there's no work, being flexible so they can earn their living.) I appreciate people like Edison immensely in this world where everyone (well almost everyone is only considering their self-interest, or are fake or pushy.) and I believe such people should be supported wholeheartedly. In short, you can (and should ;) go with Bamboo Ecotours without any reservations. You'll be in safe and caring hands. What's more, you'll be supporting qualities that are getting harder and harder to find in our modern internet age where everything is about trying to monetize, where travel has become and industry. Bamboo Ecotours is a fresh bit of air

Uganda is a beautiful country and this tour allowed us to see some of its highlights. Our guide Jackson was super friendly and knowledgeable, always stopping to point out wildlife and nature. Things were well organized and if there was an issue with the accommodation, Jackson saw to it that it was resolved. Food was great and the excursions unforgettable. All in all, a great trip. Highly recommended!

Our tour guide was Manya, He was excellent in every way, professional knowledgeable and very personable. He is part of the reason we are giving our experience an excellent rating. Seeing the gorilla's was an unforgettable life experience. Lake Bunyonyi was also well worth visiting but after a long drive I don't think we appreciated it as much as we could have. We also visited Queen Elizabeth National Park to see the climbing Lions but they must have been on holiday !!!! Bamboo Ecotours is an excellent professional company and I have no hesitation in recommending them.

From the first contact to the end of my Safari everyone, Edison with planning and Chance as my guide, were professional! Things happened as planned and on time - They were clear in all aspects: planning, payment, to accommodations, transportation, and activities. My trip was made memorable and meaningful as a direct result of their efforts and I can not provide a higher endorsement. Start to finish.

I had an amazing trip thanks to Bamboo Ecotours. As a solo female traveler, I wanted to make sure that I was using a reputable travel company and also supported local businesses. Edison was extremely communicative and helpful to me in planning my trip ahead of time and providing me with all the information and options available. Fred was my driver and was extremely professional and helpful during the entire trip. In fact, I had other people at the lodge I was staying at (that had booked through a large, expensive, international agency) ask who I had booked through since they were not experiencing the same high level of service that I had received and had paid a lot more for their trip. I would highly recommend this company and would definitely travel with them again.

Our trip with Bamboo Ecotours exceeded our expectations. We had a family of gorillas so close you could almost touch them. A very exciting experience. Herbert, our driver and guide, was an excellent support. We liked your dedication and kindness.
