Your Mahanda Africa Safaris guide will pick you up from Entebbe airport (or other specified pickup point) and transfer you to Protea Hotel, only a 10-minute drive from the airport. Depending on the time of your arrival, you might have time to explore Entebbe town. There are many options in Entebbe and a tour can easily be organized at an extra cost. For example, you could visit the Entebbe Botanical gardens or the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre (UWEC).

Today, after an early morning breakfast, your Mahanda Africa Safaris guide will meet you at your lodge to start the day's activities. After a briefing, you will leave Entebbe town heading westwards to Kibale forest for the primate safari. The destination of the day is Kibale Forest National Park, which is home to the highest population of chimpanzees in Uganda. It will be a full day’s road drive through the Uganda's scenic country side, with its breathtaking landscapes and beautiful vegetation. You will arrive late in the evening, and check in to the beautiful Kibale Forest Camp, where you will spend the night.

Today, you will be woken up by the sounds of the jungle, and served an early morning breakfast. Your Mahanda Africa Safaris guide will pick you up from your lodge and transfer you to the chimpanzee trekking start point, where you will be briefed about the day's trekking activity. Your whole day will be spent in the jungle trekking the chimpanzees. Trekking is a great way to get close to the chimpanzees in their natural habitat. You will also have many great photo opportunities for sure. When your adventure with the chimps is over your guide will drive you back to the lodge for a relaxing evening in Kibale Forest Camp where you will spend the night.

Today, after breakfast, you will embark on a journey back to Kampala. You will have a stopover for lunch at the Equator where you can also take some photos and buy some souvenirs. Afterwards, you will proceed to Entebbe airport ready to catch your flight home. If you need to spend an extra night in Entebbe, we will be happy to arrange this for you. 5.00What a wonderfull trip starting with a pick up in the airport and a fabulous stay in entebbe in a hotel in fron of the lake to be relax for the adventure to come. Then the chimp experience began going to kibale for 2 nights. Kibale was incredible as we saw the chimps in many numbers, moving, chilling qnd playing. A dream come true! Keffar the guide/driver was exceptional during the 4 days! Thank you for everything.

5.00Mahanda travel provided me one of the greatest experience of my life. From the arrival to Entebbe where we stay in an incredible hotel just beside lake victoria. To the long journey to Kibale, where of course we were delighted to see chimps in all their activities. We syayed in a lodge were you could hear the chinpancees at night, and was frequently visited bi other monkeys. To the way back passing by the ecuator line. Keffar my driver was excellent, really kind and with much knowledge. Overall Mahanda showed great professionalism and excellence in this travel.
