Jangtsa Dumtseg Lhakhang
Dumtseg Lhakhang lies just out of Paro town, with the backdrop of a majestic hill. It is possibly the only ancient temple built in the shape of a chorten and is literally chained down since local belief holds that it will otherwise fly off to heaven! Dumtseg Lhakhang was constructed in 1412 by Thangtong Gyelpo who came to Bhutan in search of iron ore to be used for constructing bridges in his homeland Tibet. The paintings here are possibly the most extraordinary collection in all of Bhutan. The Dumtseg lhakhang was conceived as a mandala with the three different levels of initiation.
Dzongdrakha Temple
Take a 15 minutes walk to Dzongdrakha : visually splendid but little visited Cliffside retreat. While at here, don't forget to visit the cave where Drubthog Gyonpo Dorji , the founder of the Lhakhang has meditated. It has a spiritually healing ambience. The place is also not so touristy so you can enjoy the serenity and tranquility at utmost on your own.

It was a very peaceful and relaxing tour and truly a wonderful experience. My guide, Kinley, was very knowledgeable about Bhutan’s history and culture, and he was always flexible and accommodating to my needs. The driver, Dorji, was also very attentive and thoughtful. He often arranged the seats and prepared water for me, which made the journey very comfortable. I highly recommend Bhutan Best Inbound Tour.

I had the most amazing experience in Bhutan organised by Mr Thinley of Best Bhutan Inbound Tours. He listened to our wishes and arranged a great itinerary starting with the colourful festival at Panakha and ending with the hike to Tiger’s Nest. In between we lit butter lamps, hung peace flags, visited temples and experienced the amazing Dotsho, the traditional hot stones bath. This was just what was needed after the hike to Tiger’s Nest. Our guide Pema was wonderful. He had a great knowledge of all the places we visited and went above and beyond to make our tour enjoyable. I had been recommended to visit the Choki Traditional School for the Arts which wasn’t on our itinerary . This was no problem for Pema who made it happen. He was full of information and answered all our questions about Bhutan and gave us an even greater appreciation for this special country. He also had a great sense of humour which just made our adventure in Bhutan even more enjoyable. Thukten, our driver, got us everywhere on time and very safely. He kindly helped me on the hike to Tiger’s Nest by carrying my back pack. Pema and Thukten made a perfect team and I can’t thank them enough. I absolutely loved our experience of Bhutan. It is a wonderful place that I will never forget. Thank you, Pema, Thukten and Best Bhutan Inbound Tours.

Our recent journey to Bhutan was nothing short of extraordinary, and we owe so much of that to Bhutan Best Inbound Tour. From the very first email, their communication was flawless — prompt, clear, and thoughtful. Every arrangement was seamless, which allowed us to simply immerse ourselves in the experience without a single logistical worry. We were warmly welcomed at the airport by Pema, our wonderful guide, and Thukthen, our skilled and very safe driver. From that first greeting, we knew we were in capable hands. They whisked us away into a beautifully paced, action-packed exploration of Bhutan’s cultural and spiritual treasures. Attending the vibrant Punakha festival was unforgettable — a dazzling immersion in color, music, and tradition. Visits to temples and historic sites throughout the country were made deeply meaningful by Pema’s remarkable knowledge and delightful sense of humour. He brought Bhutan’s history and living traditions to life in a way that was both engaging and accessible. Standing before the Great Buddha Dordenma was exhilarating. Learning about the history of Buddhism in Bhutan from Pema while taking in that breathtaking setting made the experience all the more powerful. And the walk to Tiger’s Nest Monastery was truly remarkable — challenging, yes, but completely worth it. Pema ensured that everyone could enjoy the hike at their own pace, making it both achievable and deeply rewarding. Bhutan is a magical place, but it was the care, professionalism, and warmth of Bhutan Best Inbound Tour — especially Pema and Thukthen — that transformed a great trip into an unforgettable one. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

Had an amazing 4-day tour together with my brother in Oct 2025! Although we had quite a packed agenda, our tour guide Damchey was very flexible and open to some additional requests that we've had. Tsinchu, our driver, was phenomenal, too, and even decided to join us for the hike up to the Tiger's Nest Monastery. All in all, a well organised tour! My only (minor) suggestion for improvement would be to receive more guidance at the beginning on how much local currency might be needed throughout the trip for optional coffees, souvenirs, etc.

My wife and I visited Bhutan and our guide Tandin Dorji (TD) & driver Kinley Pasa have done an amazing job in showing off this beautiful country. Our highlight was the trek to the Tigers Nest Monastery. TD was so helpful and even carried our backpacks when we were climbing up the mountain to visit this incredible landmark of Bhutan. Nothing was too much trouble for TD & Kinley and anything we needed they were more than happy to arrange it for us…the hot stone baths after our climb was much needed!

Bhutan has been on my wishlist to visit forever and finally had the chance to realize my dream this year. I was overwhelmed by the research and had a hard time gauging whom I could trust for my solo dream trip as a woman. I feel so fortunate to have found Bhutan Best Inbound Tours. From the moment I texted them any questions on WhatsApp, they were so responsive and thorough in all their answers. I wanted to be cost conscious but was okay to splurge - but not have such a "luxury" experience where I felt like I was in a bubble; I wanted a sweet spot of comfort while having a full immersion into the culture and people while experiencing as much as possible within the 4.5 days I had available in the country. The tour company was so accommodating with all my wishes and my myriad of questions, so responsive, so stress free. There was not a second in the booking and trip phase where I was stressed or worried about anything. I only booked the flights in and out of Paro and trusted them to take care of every other detail for me. The trip itself was life changing and Bhutan is gorgeous and pristine and spiritual - one of the best experiences in my life over the course of having visted over 90 countries. Adored my guide Mr. Karma and driver Mr. Indra - they made me feel so comfortable and safe and shared themselves so freely - so knowledgeable with infinite patience, and a great sense of humor. They were doting and gentlemanly and so concerned about my well being, comfort and safety, yet somehow at the same time not obsequious or suffocating. They were the best travel companions and consider them friends for life :) Tiger's Nest hike was thrilling and beyond expectations, the traditional stone bath is a must, opted into a homestay with the most amazing hospitality and views, lucked out with timing and even visited the global peace prayer festival and another festival near the big Buddha. All the hotels they arranged for were so comfortable and inviting, the food was authentic... I can go on and on about how incredible Bhutan is and how fantastic this tour agency is. I also conducted an informal survey among friends who had visited Bhutan and they all agreed that what I paid for this trip was an excellent value. So yeah, definitely book with them if confused or hesitant about which direction to go!

Well the first thing is that their staff actually care that your trip works well. Be that before you travel or while you are on their tour. The back office staff worked really hard when I decided to do the trip with very little notice. The guide and driver have both been engaging and friendly. In a short 3 days we have become good mates.

Had the most magical and unforgettable experience in Bhutan with this tour company! Everything—from the airport pickup to the daily tours—was perfectly organized, efficient, and flexible to our needs. We were incredibly lucky to have Mr. Karma and Mr. Indra as our guides. They were truly exceptional knowledgeable, attentive, patient, and full of positive energy. Karma’s passion and insights brought Bhutan’s culture and history to life, and both of them made every moment fun and memorable. We learned so much and felt genuinely taken care of throughout our entire stay. From the moment we arrived to the heartfelt goodbyes at the airport, they catered to our every need and made us feel like we were traveling with friends rather than guides. Our only real expectation for the trip was to hike Tiger’s Nest, which turned out to be a big challenge for us—but we absolutely couldn’t have made it to the top and back without their encouragement and support. That experience alone became one of the highlights of our trip. We left Bhutan with full hearts, amazing memories, and two new friends. 💛 Highly, highly recommend this tour company and especially Mr. Karma and Mr. Indra for anyone planning a trip to Bhutan!
