Tarangire is well known for its huge elephant population and baobab trees. It forms the centre of an annual migratory cycle that includes up to 3000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeest and 30,000 zebras. Distance: 130km | Non – game viewing time : 3 – 4 hrs After breakfast the tour departs. First stop is Arusha Town for any last minute purchases before we head off on safari. Distance: 145km | Non – game viewing time : 3 – 4 hrs After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park, via the beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. Then heard to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. Arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti national park. Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha – Airport

Distance: 210km | Non – game viewing time : 3 – 4 hrs After an early breakfast, You will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife. Supported by a year round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro conservation Area supports avast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park, is it’s dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. We will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually been seen here. Late afternoon transfer to Arusha For dinner and Overnight or airport drop off. ( Accommodation can be included upon request at extra cost )

I'd always wanted to experience a real safari at least once in my life, and I truly had an amazing experience. Ellie's guiding was easy to understand, and Steve's meals were absolutely delicious. If I ever go back to Tanzania, I'd definitely join this tour again.

A fantastic safari accompanied by the best guide, Eli. The day before, Eli met us at our accommodation to explain the itinerary for the trip and picked us up the next morning to set off. We enjoyed four days of safari during which we visited the Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire National Parks. We saw lots of animals, including the Big Five! Thanks to Eli, we were able to understand the animals' behaviour and learn more about their way of life. On top of that, he is a great driver, despite the sometimes unpredictable weather, and a very attentive person! Let's not forget Steven, the chef who accompanied us during these four days to prepare local specialities for us!

it was our first safari experiences and we had the time of our lives!!! thank you so much to Humphrey who send us many options to choose from, and then to Eli our guide and driver, he was the best!! He dealt with all situations with the biggest smile in pure hakuna matata spirit, and took such good care of us (when making me ginger infusions every day bc I was sick), and showed us more animals than we can count!! We went to Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire. Highlights were: seeing a lion eating a zebra 2 meters from us, the magical crater and its thousands of animals all around, seeing a family an elephant with a baby crossing a river… The lodges were also all incredible!! Thank you so much Cubs Expedition for this wonderful experience. Hakuna Matata!

I was a little afraid about the tour because I didn't know anybody that has done the tours with them before. I look for reviews online from different sources and that make me confident enough to take the "risk" Before the trip: Humphrey always answered any doubt I had, and communication was great even when our time zones were completely different, expectations were clear about the prices and things included. Arriving at Tanzania: Hudhaifa was waiting for me, I didn't have internet connection at the moment, but finding him took me less than 5min, we drove to the hotel and again he was helping me with any doubt, ir need I had. Safari: One of the best experiences of my life, Eli was our guide/driver and he was amazing, his knowledge about the place is great, but he is also fun, relaxed and helpful, he could tell us what was going to happen before it happened (regarding animal behaviour), which is a good proof of all the experience he has, we were able to see a lot of different animals in just 3 days, car was comfortable and the food was so good, and different each time, we didn't eat the same thing every meal which is something I appreciate, unfortunately I forgot our chef name but he did also great. The place is magical and it was more than I could have which and having all the wildlife so close is a surreal experience I will always remember. Finally we head back to the hotel, next day Francis drove me to the airport (he also helped me the first day when I needed Tanzanian cash and took me to the ATM and back to the hotel) A 5 star experience and worth all the time, money and effort I put into this trip.

We really liked this experience, a great team! Our guide Samuel has been very good and also Spanish banana so perfect, we have also had a chef who cooked very well! I highly recommend if you want to live an unforgettable adventure watching the Big 5!

Amazing, I loved my experience! In just 4 days, I could see all the animals I dreamed of meeting. I have witnessed incredible scenes that can only be seen in the heart of the savannah. It was a total immersion in nature, an unforgettable memory that I recommend 100%. Special mention to our guide Fisso and our cook Issa who gradually became much more than guides, they became unforgettable friends. They showed a lot of professionalism and it is thanks to them that our adventure will remain forever etched in our memories.

We met Cubs Expedition through friends who had recommended the agency and we chose the option of Safari for 4 days and 3 nights with a visit to Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire parks. Humprey was very kind and very precise: when booking he presented us with all the possible alternatives and answered precisely to all our doubts. In addition, the package offered has been customized according to our arrival and departure, with organization of transfers to and from the airport and hotel accommodations for the night before and after the Safari. During the Safari the Eliis guide was magnificent! Prepared guy, kind and helpful, as well as very nice. Eliis loves her job and manages to convey her passion for driving and her deep respect for the environment and animals, always with a smile. I recommend him without any doubt if you want to live an authentic, immersive and unforgettable experience.

Everything was perfect. Godwin was a really good guide who explained and prepared a complete plan to enjoy our safari. Also, he speaks english and spanish. Our chef, Halidy, was the best preparing tasty food. Everything was very well organized so we didn’t have to worry or manage anything. The price included also two nights of hotel in Arusha (one night before and one night after the safari). I would higly recomend this safari and this company. Thank you for this amazing trip.

We spent an unforgettable safari with Eliis (driver guide) and Kitchuya (cooking)! We have selected the option 5 days - 4 nights safari in Tarangire (1)- Serengeti (2)- Ngorongoro (1). Eliis accompanied us to day 2 (Serengeti) and was really top! He transmits with real passion his knowledge about wildlife and the country in general. He is very open and answers any questions we may have. The logistics were also impeccable and at the slightest worry, there was always a quick solution brought by Ellis or Cub expedition. We had the pleasure of eating the dishes prepared by Kitchuya that were delicious (big crush for soups we never left a drop in the pot!) In addition to the impeccable supervision for this trip and personal encounters we will never forget the landscapes and animals that Eliis introduced us to, he knows all the good corners! We opted for the option with two nights in lodge including one to the heritage of the Serengeti that we recommend because the setting is incredible and the neighborhood too (buffaloes and mongooses in the area). In short if you still doubt the company to call on for your safari do not doubt you have found it! Have a good trip!
