Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, drive to Tarangire NP, enjoy full day game drive with a picnic lunch. The park consists of natural vegetation mainly of Acacia woodland and giant African Baobab trees, with huge swamp areas in the south. Both the river and the swamps act like a magnet for wild animals, during Tanzania's dry season. The Tarangire National Park is reputed to contain some of the largest elephant herds in Africa. This African National Park is also home to three rare species of animals, the Greater Kudu, the Fringed-eared Oryx, as well as a few Ashy Starlings.

Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, head to Ngorongoro Crater. Drive to the Ngorongoro Highlands, and descend 600 meters onto the crater floor for a fantastic wildlife drive. The picnic lunch will be served at one of the crater's picnic areas. Many consider Ngorongoro Crater one of the world's natural marvels that you cannot afford to miss when planning your Tanzania safari. Its beauty is stunning regardless of the rainy or dry seasons. The crater has a large variety of animal species, yet just a few creatures go in and out of it. You may expect to see herds of wildebeests, zebras, hippos, elands, elephants, topis, and other animals. In addition, the endangered black rhino may be found here in its native environment. The crater is also home to a variety of predators, including cheetahs, hyenas, jackals, lions, and the elusive leopards, which can be difficult to observe at times. Finally, we will drive to Arusha in the late afternoon.

We had an extraordinary experience with Meijo Safari, organized in every detail. The itinerary was perfect: Tarangire, Lake Ndutu, two days in the Serengeti and the magnificent crater of Ngorongoro — a complete and exciting journey. Our guide Elia was excellent: always punctual, professional and very prepared. He explained animals, flora and fauna in a clear and engaging way, making every sighting even more interesting. We also greatly appreciated his respectful approach: prudent driving, never invasive and always careful not to disturb the animals, following a true philosophy of “leaving no footprints”. Thanks to him we were able to see the Big Five, a unique emotion! In particular, the sighting of the black rhino in the Serengeti was truly unforgettable. We absolutely recommend Meijo Safari and Elia to anyone who wants to experience an authentic, well-organized and nature-friendly safari.

Our 6-day Tanzania safari with four people was absolutely amazing. We saw plenty of incredible wildlife, including lions and cheetahs, and every moment was exciting and unforgettable. The scenery was breathtaking, and the whole experience exceeded our expectations. The only small issue was that the hotel on the first night had some minor equipment problems, which slightly affected our rest. But overall, the trip was excellent. The guide was professional and the itinerary was well-organized. Highly recommended for an unforgettable safari adventure!

Just finished a 6 day, 5 night safari tour of Tanzania, hitting Kahndutu and the central Serengeti, the prairies are beautiful, the wildlife is amazing! Along the way, you'll see lions and other beasts, wildebeest, zebras, giraffes and other herds, and immerse yourself in the wildness and vitality of the African steppes. The guide is particularly professional and patient, looking for animals with a superb vision, meticulous and thoughtful explanations, and full of security throughout. The itinerary is reasonable, the experience is perfect, definitely worth five stars praise! Recommended for all friends who want to go to Africa to see animals, definitely worth the trip 🌟

The road was difficult to navigate, but the guide gave us a very shocking experience, a very full six-day trip and saw a lot of animals, all pristine. Herman is very good.

An unforgettable journey, very welcoming by contact Marcrlina, Ziggi has been working for over fifteen years and is a very experienced guide. Accommodation on the grasslands is good, with hot water, but the signal is not good. Many animals and their cubs are seen in the Serengeti and Ndutu. Ngorongoro is a dead volcano with a very rich species and a very peaceful animal life.

Recommended by Little Red Book bloggers, the price, service, experience is great! And the driver gabby is very, very professional, feels safe and has a company license and tax certificate, don't worry at all. If I came to climb Mount Kilimanjaro for the second time I would still choose meijo!

I had an AMAZING experience through with this Safari company! So glad I chose them. All game drives were private and my guide, Jason was very funny and knowledgeable! He’s also a great driver with all the different terrains we experienced in the national parks. To my surprise, we also got a personal photographer Rajbu who took some great pictures every single day. I highly recommend Meiji Safaris and I highly recommend visiting during calving “green” season. Everything was so green and full of life and the animals were everywhere enjoying. In addition to that, so many baby animals!
