Our new Aboriginal cultural tour on the Pambula River comes from a special collaboration with Twofold Aboriginal Corporation. This immersive experience takes participants on a guided kayaking journey, complemented by the knowledge and stories of an Indigenous guide. As paddles gently ripple the waters of the Pambula River, guests will be enlightened about the river’s profound significance in Aboriginal culture, history, and lore. We will make our way to Severs Beach, a place deeply entwined with the Indigenous heritage of our region, resonating with thousands of years of history. As we pause to soak in the beauty of this magnificent spot, guests are treated to a delightful morning tea. Relish the local flavors of lemon myrtle slices, paired with freshly plunged coffee, aromatic tea, refreshing juice, and a selection of fresh fruit.

We had a fabulous family Kayakimg day with Jess on the Pambula River. Jess was so calm and knowledgeable when giving the explanation the importance of this River and the significance to the indigenous people. We even saw hundreds of soldiers crabs marching during low tide. I would highly recommend this tour. My kids are 9 and 12 and were able complete this adventure.

This tour was fantastic, worth every cent. The knowledge Nathan shared was fascinating, and we saw and learned so much . If you’re in the Merimbula Eden area I’d say absolutely make time for this, being on the beautiful Pambula river, seeing stingrays and sea eagles and learning about middens, was so great, and our delicious morning tea stop with million dollar views was the best

This tour felt like being with friends on an adventure to discover the Sapphire Coast. Our friend… I mean, guides, Jess and Nathan, were fantastic. Personal, attentive and incredibly knowledgeable of the land and the creatures who inhabit it. I leave feeling closer to this place thanks to them.
