A trip to Qatar isn't complete without a visit to the DESERT of Qatar that meets the sea. Lying about 100km south of Doha, the last 30km of the trip are off road, across the sand dunes. Only go with a registered local tour operator and experienced off-road drivers or you could end up stuck. Both on the way and once you get there the scenery is stunning. Half a day trip combined with sand boarding, camel back ride and enjoy tea in a traditional desert camp. Well worth the trip.

5.00Shabab was great! Lovely and a friendly person who gave us the freedom to wait, take pictures and just chill and absorb the atmosphere. No preasure or rushing. Also knowledgable about the local stuff so it was a biy of a cultural trip as well.

He was super kind and attentive throughout the entire tour, and I thought it was a bonus that they came in a convoy, ensuring safety even on a private tour. Thank you for the experience!

5.00Shabab was an amazing dune-bashing driver. Even though he clearly does this every day, he made the entire experience feel special — like it was his first time and he genuinely wanted us to enjoy every second. His energy, enthusiasm, and confidence on the dunes made us feel safe while still giving us the full thrill of the adventure. You can tell he loves what he does, and that excitement transfers directly to the passengers. Highly recommended if you want a fun, memorable desert experience.

5.00We had such a wonderful desert safari experience, and a big part of that was our guide Khalifa. He was extremely professional, punctual, and made us feel safe and comfortable throughout the entire trip. His driving skills on the dunes were excellent — thrilling but very controlled, which made the experience exciting without ever feeling unsafe. He was also very kind and patient, especially with my mother, making sure she was comfortable at every step. He explained everything clearly, helped us take beautiful photos, and never rushed us. The timing was perfect, and the whole experience felt well-organised and smooth. Highly recommend this tour — and especially this guide — for anyone looking for a safe, fun, and memorable desert experience in Doha.
