What To Expect
The Bund (Wai Tan)
Meet up your friendly private guide at your hotel in the morning, afternoon or evening, and have a short discussion with your guide for your things to do list. Then hop-on the comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle to start your exciting 4-hour journey. You can either following the sample itinerary or going with your own customized one. Typically, you will visit The Bund, see the amazing city landmarks along the Huangpu river such as pearl TV Tower, shanghai tower and world financial center. 5.00If you are going to do one trip when you are in Shanghai please MAKE SURE THIS IS THE ONE. The tour company will make contact with you around 24 hours before departure and confirm meeting point and ask you if you have any preferences for your tour. We didn’t, so went with their suggestions which included: - Yu Gardens - Jade Buddha Temple - The French Concession - The Bund They will also include a stop at a world famous dumpling restaurant to try this tasty treat. Every time you need to move to the next location the luxury SUV is there to pick you up with cold water and lovely A/C. A special mention for our guide CAROLINE. She was fun, interesting and a great guide. If you can get her you will be super lucky.

A huge benefit for English-speaking tourists was the availability of interpreters throughout the tour, and our passionate guide, Kalvin, went above and beyond by recommending fantastic local restaurants for authentic Shanghainese cuisine and arranging a memorable tea ceremony. Kalvin's insights were invaluable, and our driver, Mr. Ma, provided comfortable and reliable transportation. We highly recommend this tour and hope to book a longer experience with Kalvin on our next trip to China.

5.00We just completed our annual vacation and although late I’ll take this opportunity to write a review on our Viator experience in Shanghai 10 MARCH 2025. SNOW was a wonderful and outstanding tour guide. She explained everything about the history on the sites we visited and went out of her way to take us to Michelin Star restaurant when she found out that my son’s favorite Chinese dish is dumpling. We highly recommend this tour and tour guide Miss Snow, she’s very polite, very likable personality, courteous and professional. Snow really made our family special during our tour and we will cherish this memory in Shanghai forever. Thank you.
