  The driver Ibtihaj was great, had the best Chai tea ever. Saw a lot of Qatar and there was no rush. The explanation of history of buildings was great too.

  First, the tour was advertised as private for our group. Communication prior to tour was excellent. Once we got in the spacious car, Irnaf informed us that there would be a new passenger. When asked about the fact that we were expecting that it would be private, he said that the car fits 3 people. In any case we said that it would be ok, and we were glad as the other passenger turned out to be friendly, courteous and delightful. While Irfan was an excellent driver, his voice was fairly low directing most of his communication to the other passenger who was sitting in the front with him. Therefore, my husband specially, mentioned that he missed many of his comments. If we asked something or asked to repeat whatever he said, he would comply but continued to direct his occasional comments to our third passenger in a low tone. Irnaf was pleasant, and gave some information about Qatar, but sometimes he had to be prompted by questions. Had we not been to the Qatar history museum already in the morning, we would have been disappointed as we learned quite a bit about Qatar from the museum. Also, we went to the Central market. Irnaf showed us where to go as he drove around. However the place is huge and we didn’t find all the places he pointed to while driving. So It would have been nice particularly on this stop if he had gone in with us and guided us through since there was so much to see and the place was huge. In summary, while we greatly enjoyed seeing the different places in Qatar, our best time was in the last 15 minutes or so of our tour when irnaf took us to the Cornish, after dropping our third passenger at the museum. This was the first time he offered to take a picture and gave us time to admire the beautiful skyline with its lighted buildings and brilliant colors. He also pointed to many cabins and food trucks where to we could purchase food. He was then talkative and engaging. So the tour is worthwhile. Our guide and driver just needs more experience. So that he can learn to be more communicative and to better meet the needs and expectations of clients, by asking what questions they have and what they would like to learn. We gave 4 stars along with a fairly good tip. There is potential there. Doha is beautiful and the drive made the sightseeing very enjoyable.

  Excellent short tour to see the highlights when restricted with time. Muhammad Ibtihaj was a great guide.
