It was a very satisfying tour, taking about four hours to see several lakes in the Lake District and holding down points like glasmere. The Windermere area will pick up and drop off at the designated location, so it was very good to be able to participate without thinking about moving elsewhere. While watching how crowded the day was, they came up with an efficient route to get around without getting stuck in traffic, and they explained the history of the Lake District in their car. One of the things that made me feel good about asking for a personal tour was that they were flexible enough to stop by a good restaurant when I asked for a coffee. Regarding English and explanation, they explained slowly and many times, so it was easy for Japanese to understand and ask questions. If I had the chance to go to the Lake District again, I would love to ask for another tour.

  • getting to the highest point in the lakes and seeing the 3rd smallest house in the country.

We had a brilliant time. Our tour guide David was amazing with all the knowledge of the area and showing us the best places on such busy day as weather was good and lots of tourists around. We managed to see at least 8 lakes and each one was different and water fall and surroundings from the highest point to the lowest point it was so nice. Will be returning soon when it is a bit quieter.
