Leaving Aberystwyth, you travel around the coast of Cardigan Bay through the quaint town of Aberaeron, and to New Quay. I have been on many escorted bus tours of this type but this one has to be at the top. Our guide, Jack, was an excellent driver and was knowledgeable, professional, always pleasant and patient and made this trip lots of fun. It was an amazing experience through a beautiful and historical area and I highly recommend this tour. Thank you, Jack!

Beautiful journey. Good guide and driver. Good hotels. Good group. I wish in the package the rail journey to top of Snowdon mountain was included.

We absolutely loved this tour and the opportunity to visit small villages and places of historical significance. We felt we had plenty of time to explore on our own and the overnights in Aberystwyth and Tenby were so lovely.

I booked a five-days tour from London to discover Wales and had an amazing experience. I was able to see beautiful landscapes and had different chances to take photos. My guide were Jack and Carl(trainee), They were knowledgeable, kind and helpful. Jack was also very accommodating, Our tourmate Debbie wanted to see sheep and he made it happen. His best knowledge and story telling ability of any tour guide I have seen. The way he tied in the stories and music to where we were made the long day of driving go by quickly. Jack also bought Welshcake so we could taste it. Jack was an awesome storyteller and I loved his stories. Carl was a warm, friendly guide too, he helped another tourmate Christine to walk around places, because she's not very well at her mobility. Highly recommend this tour and let Jack or Carl be the tour guide. Thanks, Jack and Carl.

My husband and I took the 5 day Heart of Wales tour and it was fantastic! Our driver/tour guide was Helen. She does an amazing job of sharing English history. Her friendly, engaging personality and sense of humor was quite a plus! St David’s Cathedral, Harlech and Pembroke Castles are amazing! The small Cotswold villages were very attractive. We especially enjoyed the coastal towns and the ocean views! We highly recommend this tour and Rabbies!

The trip was absolutely worth it. There were some days of long driving however some of the views from the van were breathtaking. The driver I had was amazing at pointing out all kinds of things on the drive and in the place that we had stopped, he also had an expansive amount of knowledge on kinds of subjects and was about to answer most questions that the group had. I made a really good friend that I have stayed in touch with even after the tour. We managed to see so much in such a short amount of time. Nic if you read this, we are all happy that you were our guide.

The whole trip was fantastic. Russell was informative entertaining and had a great play list. The other people on the tour were friendly and just nice. The sights on the list and the extra stops made the trip tiring but enjoyable interesting and fun.

This was my first official tour I've ever been on that lasted for more than a few hours. I went with my best friend. We loved seeing Wales! Loved all the castles. Loved hearing about the history. Sadly, when we had questions, our tour guide/driver didn't seem to know enough about Wales not the stories. He was an exceptional driver, very kind and accommodating. Some Welch music when not listening to the details about the areas we were driving past would have been nice. Robbie's never told my friend and I where we would be staying nor the prices of our accommodations which seemed unprofessional even though an email from the company stated they would let us know ahead of time. Like other's have remarked, the building where the company departs is very hard to find! A few signs on the outside of the building would have made it a lot easier to find. Rabbie's scheduled for us to stop in Laugharne. The night before, I did a bit of research into this town and saw that the castle was closed on Wednesday. So why did this place get put onto our tour for that day? We could have gone to the home of the poet, Dylan Thomas, who apparently is loved by the Welch but sadly not to either of us. There really was no need to stop unless it had of been on a day that the castle grounds could have been enjoyed. We loved Pembroke Castle and wished we would have had more time there to enjoy the whole tour. We also loved St Fagans Nat’l History Museum, in Cardiff but again, wished we had an additional hour to see more of this unique place. Overall, we had a wonderful time.

What a wonderful tour of Wales, thanks to John and Rabbies! Such a fabulous snapshot of a beautiful country, well presented with facts and stories by an absolute history buff! Thank you John and Rabbies for providing this interesting, fun and inspiring tour. John, thank you for keeping us safe and always helping us with our bags and keeping to time! You obviously love your job and it shows in the details, care and attention you pay, in addition to your wealth of knowledge and art of storytelling, wit and humour. We had a ball and I highly recommend Rabbies! I’ll be back!
