This trip was absolutely life-changing. It gave me the opportunity to immerse myself in my culture and become more connected and well-versed in the country my family is from. In Delhi, Gautham was exceptionally well-versed in the monuments we explored. His depth of knowledge added so much meaning to each site. On top of that, his hospitality went above and beyond expectation, as he personally dropped off items we had purchased to our hotel the next day since we weren’t able to pick them up during the tour despite him no longer being our appointed guide at that point. In Fatehpur Sikri, Mehraj treated me as one of his own. His warmth and authenticity made me feel like I wasn’t just visiting, but truly experiencing the culture as part of the community. It was something I will always cherish. Mehraj took it upon himself to make me feel like one of the locals, offering bike rides and taking me to his favorite local sweet spots and areas of the city where he grew up. Our driver, Lukman, was always punctual, made sure we had snacks available, and kept a positive, engaging energy during our long travel days. His high spirits made every journey comfortable and enjoyable. Dharamvir, like Gautham and Mehraj, was incredibly knowledgeable about his region. He brought wonderful energy to each tour, bringing humor and jokes that kept everyone engaged and smiling while also delivering on in-depth story telling on the evolution of Jaipur and its culture.
