Want to learn more about the history of Venice and get off the beaten path with the locals? Join us on our historic walks to see the city through our eyes!
We'll take you to Dorsoduro, one of the most beautiful and authentic areas of Venice. This is where we live, hang out with friends and take walks on the weekends. Jump in and take a walk through the quiet neighborhoods and backstreets of Dorsoduro to explore its historic spots, its gondola boatyards, and learn more about the place.
We'll talk about how Venice was built, its architecture and urbanist aspects, its artistic and cultural heritage, as well as how Venice has changed over time and how it lives today. You’ll get familiar with such words as squero and palazzo, as well as with other things to help you get a better insight into the city, the way it thinks and its identity.
If an activity for a specific day is missing, please contact us, and we will be happy to arrange it for you!

5.00Thank you, Nicoló and Alexandra! I went kayaking with Cao Rio last year, and today I had my Historic Walk around the city. Lots of energy, inspiration, and a real way to explore and learn! I like their concept of responsible travelling for exchange and sharing. What they do through their tours is about sharing knowledge and their Venetian style of life. It is great!

5.00It was a fantastic walking tour! Our time with Nicolo and Aleksandra was wonderful. We walked through the quiet and charming Venetian streets in the early morning, stopping in stunning and sunny spots... It was great how the guys explained Venice to us: as a place with great traditions, as an extremely rich history, as well as a place with rich culture. To those who love history and seek a more in-depth look at the past, this detailed, informative, and entertaining tour is recommended.
