The dream biker’s excursion “Fantastic Lanna Kingdom” will take you first to the highest peak of Thailand (Doi Inthanon with 2,565 meters above sea level). Ride along the winding and narrow twisty curvy roads with high mountain scenery (Mae Hong Son Loop). 1,864 curves through a vast panorama view of Mae Hong Son, the charming Pai, the lovely Tha Ton, the impressive mountainous scenery of Doi Mae Salong, Doi Tung Royal Villa and of course the famous Golden Triangle, where three country borders meet: Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar. An unforgettable riding experience as we pass through natural, historical, traditional and cultural attractions. Lots of great reasons, why this tour is our Bestseller! We strongly recommends that all protective clothing be worn. We provides all motorcycle protective gear. If you require any special size clothing it would be preferable to bring the protective clothing with you. In Thailand motorcycle helmets are compulsory; boots, protective clothing, and gloves for riders and passengers are strongly advised
Evidence of motorbike driving license is required for at least 4 years of riding experience
The itineraries may change as we make improvements to our tours. Our brochures are updated when tour itineraries change or the need arises. We reserves the right to amend the tour route due to road works, weather conditions, or our new research information on routes. No refunds will be given due to any route change.
Minimum age is 21 years
If you have any specific dietary requirements, please inform us when booking so we can make the appropriate arrangements for you. The support vehicle always carries cool bottled water and cool refresher towels. Snacks can be purchased during stops. We do not provide any alcohol on tour, and do not allow any alcohol consumption during the day while motorcycles are in use. Guests may consume alcohol in the evening when the motorcycles are not in use.
A current valid passport is required on the day of travel

Familiarize yourself with your bike on the highway ride heading south of Chiang Mai to Doi Inthanon National Park, the highest peak in Thailand, 2,565 meters above sea level. Ride along the excellent winding mountain road through pine forest scenery. Visit Thailand’s finest waterfall, nature trails, Royal pagodas, and botanical gardens. Descending to Mae Chaem for a relaxing lunch at the local restaurant. After lunch, ride on, passing through pine forests until we reach Mae Sariang, near the border of Myanmar, where you later enjoy your peaceful accommodation.

After breakfast, leave Mae Sariang to Mae Hong Son on narrow twisty curvy roads. In Khun Yuam we take a break and visit a World War II museum. Visit Wat Phra That Doi Kong Mu, the first temple of Mae Hong Son on the hilltop. Lunch is served at a local restaurant. Visit Lod cave, which means, “cave with a stream running through”, on a bamboo raft. Then back on twisty curvy roads to Pai. Optional visit Tha Pai hot spring, where you can enjoy a mineral bath. Then we reach a charming accommodation with a swimming pool.

Before breakfast, in the very early morning, you have a chance to offer food to the monks along the streets of Pai`s local market. After breakfast, visit the Pai World War II Memorial Bridge. Back on winding mountainous roads. Later we reach Chiang Dao, where we have a relaxing lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, visit Chiang Dao cave. Then ride along fantastic mountain roads via Doi Angkhang until we reach Tha Ton, where you will visit the Wat Tha Ton on top of the mountain and enjoy the amazing sunset there. Later you relax in your charming accommodation with a fantastic panoramic view.

After breakfast, we leave Tha Ton to visit the long-neck Karen tribe village near the border of Thailand and Myanmar. Ride to Doi Mae Salong, where Chinese mountain tea farmers live. Of course, you will test Thailand´s best tea there. Then back on curvy roads to Doi Tung Royal Villa. Visit the Winter Palace and the botanical garden. Lunch is served at the Royal’s Project restaurant. Continue along winding roads to Mae Sai, the northernmost point of Thailand. Visit Wat Tham Pla where you can feed some food to wild monkeys. Reach the Golden Triangle to take a long-tail boat trip on the Mekong river and short visit a small village in Laos (no visa necessary). Visit the Opium museum before relaxing at your peaceful accommodation.

After breakfast, ride along a scenic farming area road to Chiang Rai City. After that, visit the White Temple (Wat Rong Khun) one of the top 10 wonder temples in the world. Continue on a long highway ride until we reach Phayao, visit Phayao lake (Kwan Phayao) one of the largest lakes in Northern Thailand. Lunch is served at a local restaurant in front of the lake. Continue riding on windy mountain roads to Than Tong waterfall and Mae Kachan hot spring. Visit a local market, stopping for refreshment, before heading back to Chiang Mai.

5.00Had the trip of a lifetime with these guys. From the first contact on WhatsApp and the whole booking process was excellent and very clear and detailed. On arrival the debrief before the tour and meeting the guys we would be traveling with. Then the tour it's self, incredible Pong and team were amazing , the roads are just amazing and the views just wow. Loved the regular stops and attractions along the way. Hotels and food was amazing. This was truly one of the best trips ever, we were a group of three I did not ride but my husband and friend did and they were just buzzing everyday from the great rides. It was also great to meet your fellow riders from Australia. Austria and the US what a ball we had and introduced to the boots on beer! Kay, Pong, Torsten and special thanks to Bit for looking after me THANK YOU. Hopefully Vietnam next trip see you soon. Maria

5.00This was an absolutely fantastic ride. Five days of amazing roads , locations , hotels & food. The big bike tours team Noah , Tan & others were very accommodative, allowing all riders to enjoy at their on pace. Highly recommend the five day ride the roads 1028 & 1148 are dream rides… woooooow

5.00Amazing tour and first time trip to Thailand. Soo many memories and things to talk about, not enough time to write.. Bike Bike Tours is the real deal all adventure and leisure and no worries! i was nervous at first but Big Bike Tours took care of everything, our tour guide was A+ and our mechanic followed along just incase, those guys were great. The hotel accommodations and stops made the trips soo much more interesting and enjoyable than just motorcycle riding. Will ride again with these guys again, why spend money on bland trips when you can ride a motorcycle in leisure through Thailand! Cant wait to book another tour with Big Bike soon.

5.00The absolute best tour company ever! Easy from first booking to completion of the tour. Met on arrival and taken to headquarters for fit out of quality helmet, jacket and gloves. Nothing was left to chance they organise everything. Met up at hotel first thing with my bike already there and for the next 5 days I loved everything. The riding on quality bikes in stunning scenery with fabulous guides who made everything appear so easy and enjoyable. Great group headed by our guide Pong. Big Bike Tours are the best operators for bike touring.
I was very happy to do this trip as my second trip with this company and I’m on my way to do the third trip in North Vie

5.00Had an absolutely super time on the tour. The bikes were in perfect condition and it is fantastic to have everything being looked after for you so you can just concentrate on the whole experience. My compliments to Noah and the team for looking after us so well - especially as we had specific dietary requirements. We felt so secure having a support truck behind us carrying our luggage but also giving us water whenever we stopped and keeping watch on the bikes at all times. We could just leave everything on the bikes and any maintenance was carried out as needed. Food was excellent as was the accommodation. The places we saw were all stunning and we were all proud to have completed the 4088 curves of the Mae Hong Sun. What a way to explore Thailand.

5.00An absolutely fantastic experience! Big Bike Tours definitely know their stuff. The riding is every biker's dream with excellent roads, amazing scenery and plenty of challenging sections. Our guide Pong is an awesome rider and extremely knowledgeable, taught us a lot about Thailand and it's history. The accommodation ranged from 3-5 star (all fine for me) and the food was spectacular. Buffet breakfasts and 4-5 course banquets for lunch and dinner everyday! This is a good way to meet like-minded people from all over the world and share a unique experience. A huge thankyou to Pong, Rut, and all the team behind the frontline who made it all possible. I will be back!!

Thanks to everyone for the great service from start to finish was taken care of everything airport transfer, accommodations, food all top.
