Zhangjiajie National Forest Park

It is a famous tourism destination in Hunan province which was officially recognized as a UNESCO world heritage site in 1992. The pillar-like formation seen through the park are the result of many years of erosion. With over 90% forest coverage, the scenic area comprises Yuanjiajie, Yangjiajie, Jinbian Stream and Wulongzhai. The minority culture and folklores are represented in nearby villages and towns, inhabited by Tujia, Bai, Miao and Hui people, making worthwhile side trips.

BaiLong Elevator

Bailong Elevator is the highest and fastest sightseeing elevator in the world and provides a spectacular view of the sandstone peak forest. It has a height of 326 meters and can carry 3,000 people an hour in the three transparent elevators. It only takes1.5mins to travel to the top of the mountain.

Yuanjiajie is in the northern corner of Zhangjiajie National Park. This area is famous and popular for its Hallelujah mountain, named after Avatar's floating rocks. The most popular attractions are: Hallelujah Mountain, No.1 Natural Bridge in the world and so on.

Tianzi Mountain

It is known for 4 natural spectacles--the clouds of mist that circle the peaks of the mountain, the amazing views of the rising sun, the moonlit nights and snowcapped winter peaks. They include more than 80 natural platforms to take in the magnificent scenery. Take the cable to Tianzi mountain to enjoy the views upway and relax.

Yellow Dragon Cave

Located at the eastern end of Wulingyuan and close to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Yellow Dragon Cave is one of the most beautiful caves in China and the longest one in Asia. The cave is just like an underground “magical palace”, featuring a wide cave, deep and secluded underground rivers, hanging waterfalls and dense stone bamboo shoots, and showing a style of its own. With good beneficial air circulation, it is cool in the summer and warm in the winter in the cave. Yellow Dragon Cave has been honored as magical karsts cave both in China and in the world.

The Grand Canyon of Zhangjiajie

Zhangjiajie grand canyon is a recently-developed natural wonderland. It incorporates mountains, streams, caves,cliffs and forest.

Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge

The world's longest & highest glass bridge is also located in this scenic area. Walking on the glass bottom bridge that is 300 meters above the ground will be the coolest experience of your tour!

Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park

Regarded as the "Soul" of Zhangjiajie, Tianmen mountain is the highest mountain in Zhangjiajie. The views include graceful ancient trees, karst hillocks and long roads that are carved from the sides of the cliff. The cable car takes 30 mins from the city center to the mountain top and is the longest cable in the world. Be transferred to Fenghuang Ancient City in the afternoon, about 3 hours driving.

Fenghuang Ancient City Museum

Different from other ancient towns in China, Fenghuang Ancient Town is a secluded and tranquil town located on the bank of the river and surrounded by mountains. It is a good idea to stroll in this ancient town and visit some interesting shops and homes, and discover some interesting nooks. The ethnic handicrafts are really delicate and special in this region. At night, the town becomes more quiet and peaceful.

Furong Ancient Town

There are a lot of to see and do in Furong Town, originally named Wangcun, is a home of Tujia and Miao minorities in the west Hunan. Furong Town has a history of more than 2,000 years.Until now, in the town, pavement laid with black flagstones and ancient domestic house (mainly Diaojiaolou) are well preserved.
