Kitesurfing is one of the fastest growing sports; the feel is amazing, and in Bonaire it's even better. Clear blue warm waters, year round steady winds and the best vibes on the beach.

On the first day you'll learn all the basics of flying a kite. You'll start with a trainerkite on land and after a while we'll teach you how to setup the bigger kite, the one you'll be using on the water. Once you're in the water we'll be working on 'powerstrokes' and 'body dragging'. Basicly you'll learn how to steer the kite to pull you through the water.

The second day we'll start where we left off and when the handeling of the kite is done correctly we'll grab a board and start working on the 'waterstart'. This is where you'll learn how to stand on the board.

In the next three days you'll be working on your stance on the board and riding upwind. Once you've got this down you can start jumping and doing tricks!

What To Expect

Every day you will have a kitesurfing course of 2 hours. During the course you will get personal attention from our qualified instructors. With our step by step teaching model, we help you to achieve your goals! It doesn't matter if you a beginner, intermediate or advanced kiter; we help you to improve in every level! We teach with the newest and safest equipment, and the most updated teaching techniques. All our instructors have extended experience in teaching kitesurfing according the International Kiteboarding Organization (IKO) methodology. We teach these lessons with a private instructor supporting you from a boat that is constantly with you on the water securing maximum of communication, safety and attention.

After completing two short lessons in NL I decided to go all in. I booked 10 lessons at this wonderful kiteboard school. Reason for picking the yellow bus instead of the blue bus was because of experiences of other acquaintances. The best choice ever. The location is mesmerizing. The road to the location is an experience by itself. The salt lakes on the left (which are pink) and the beautiful blue sea on the other side. The vibe on the beach is great. Everybody is sincerely interested in who you are, what your progress is and helpful. I was connected to my instructor Louie. We had a great connection and this guy was just amazing. So much positivity. I crawled, walked and in the end was able to run and even fly!!! The progress I made was mindblowing but this also because of the great professional support and coaching. There is a private boat next to you when you get the lesson. They master educating students at a pace which is fit for purpose for the student. After you master a certain element the next one is added. Step by step you learn how to run the waves using your gear. I have become an addict. It takes time but I am so happy with the outcome. I can ride the waves both sides and Louie and team helped me to overachieve my personal goals. But is not only Louie, the whole team is great. Imagine yourself having a drink afterwards with fellow kiters and staff. The vibe is great. I highly recommend this great kite school and will be back for sure. I am now recovering from all kinds of muscle pains. Haha. Totally worth it.
