Collection time is between 08:00 and 08:30 from anywhere in Windhoek. Windhoek is surrounded by mountains and we have to pass over both the Eros Mountains and the Khomas Hochland Range. As we travel through this splendid landscape we drop down from the central . We stop at Solitaire for petrol and perhaps also afternoon tea before we continue to our lodge. We aim to arrive during the early afternoon Sossusvlei is located in the scenic Namib-Naukluft National Park. Here you will find the iconic red sand dunes of the Namib contrasting with clear blue skies. These unique dunes rise to almost 400 metres, making them some of the highest in the world. They come alive in the morning and evening light and draw photography enthusiasts from around the globe. Sossusvlei is home to a variety of desert wildlife including oryx, springbok, ostrich and a variety of reptiles. Visitors can climb ‘Big Daddy’, one of Sossusvlei's tallest dunes; explore Deadvlei, a white clay pan dotted with ancient trees.

Famous Dune 45, a beautiful star dune which reaches over 170 meters in height. Those who feel fit enough to climb the dune will be rewarded with breathtaking views of the surrounding Namibian desert
Sesriem Canyon
Sossusvlei with sand dunes rising along both sides of the road. This iconic landscape is made up of white plains and red dunes which tower majestically against a deep blue sky and are among the highest in the world.
Day 3: Sossusvlei to Swakopmund

Walvis Bay
Namibia is a land of contrasts. Today we will move from desert to sea, crossing the Tropic of Capricorn and traversing the Gaub and Kuiseb passes. As we climb out the dry river bed at the bottom of Kuiseb Canyon, a spectacular desert landscape will unfold before us.stop over in Walvis Bay to enjoy the sight of flamingos and other birds in the lagoon and to visit the salt works. Dinner will be at a local restaurant and is included in the tour. We overnight at a hotel.
Day 4: Swakopmund

Cape Cross
In the morning we will visit the vast seal colony at Cape Cross, north of Swakopmund. Here you are able to get up close to thousands of wild Cape fur seals and observe them in their natural environment. Swakopmund is a charming seaside town characterised by German colonial architecture, palm-lined streets, great restaurants, plenty of shops and beautiful beaches. You will be free to explore this town for the rest of the day. It offers plenty to do including a good museum and aquarium. Various optional activities can also be arranged. These include a boat tour (with oysters and champagne), scenic flights and micro-light flights over the desert, fishing trips (either from the beach or a boat), quad-biking in the desert, sandboarding and . Your guide will discuss all your options and offer to make pre-bookings. Note that all extra activities in Swakopmund are subject to availability and are made at the client's own risk and expense.

Today, on our return to Windhoek, we will pass by marble and gold mines and visit Namibia's largest craft market in Okahandja, administrative centre of the Herero people. You will be dropped off at your accommodation in Windhoek just after lunch at around 14H30

5.00The 5-Day Sossusvlei & Sandwich Harbour Photography Tour was the ultimate combination of relaxation and adventure! Luke was the best guide I could have asked for! He's thoughtful about your needs and is a fountain of knowledge for every aspect of the tour. His passion for sharing all of the amazing things Namibia has to offer is so contagious, you'll fall in love with all of the breathtaking nature he'll share with you. No matter what situation you're in, Luke will take care of everything. There was higher rainfall than usual which made some of the roads hard to pass, but he made it through smoothly; like a champ! He is mindful of fitness levels and will cheer you on as you trek up the sand dunes for epic views. He'll also make sure you have plenty of space and time to get the best photos. Your trip will be packed with unique experiences! Froggy made driving on the sand dunes a once in a lifetime adventure as he's such an expert on finding the most exciting dunes. It was such a highlight that I've told so many people about it since the trip! With all of the driving and different destinations, I was super happy that I booked a tour rather than trying to do it myself; you definitely get your money's worth with the great choices in accommodation and activities! It was also so effortless as the Aina was super communicative and helped me even coordinate transfers from the airport and to other destinations at the best rates since I booked the tour. The team truly provides an all-encompassing service and I would recommend them to anyone looking to have an unforgettable experience in Namibia!

Wonderful experience thanks to the beauty and charm of the places visited but above all for the perfect organization of People and Safari tour and for the guide who accompanied us on the trip: Fanuel. Precise, prepared, attentive Fanuel took us to see magical Namibia driving over 2000 km. The trip was wonderful also thanks to his great professionalism and availability. Fanuel has fulfilled our every wish and need cuddling us throughout the journey. Even Aina and Alby from the base office followed us and helped us organize the trip ... what about perfect! And Namibia wonderful.... To leave our hearts!

5.00ナミブ砂漠のDuneに登って夕日や朝日を見ました。とてもすごい世界で表現する言葉がありません。国立公園の中のロッヂもとても良かったです。 ツアーガイドがとても親切で、おもてなしの心もあり、おかげさまでとても楽しく過ごせました。うまく言葉で言い表せませんが、とにかく家族や友人にここへ行くことをすすめています。私も次回は家族を連れて、また行きたいと思っています。その時はこのツアー会社にまた頼もうと思います。とても親切に対応してくれましたし、ガイドが最高でしたから。 I enjoyed the tour "5-day Sossusvlei & Coast". "Dune45" with sunset and "BigDuddly" with sunrise were grateful for the stunning views. I enjoyed activities like "Quad Bike" and "Sandwich Harbour". 5.00The tour is well organized, perfectly curated, logistics are impeccable and you couldn’t be in better hands. Saki, the tour guide, was also a very important part of the overall experience, being positive, friendly, and helpful. We even spent New Year’s Eve with him! We came back home with lots of souvenirs, experiences, adventures and a new friendship! You definitely have to book this private 5-day tour and ask for Saki to be your tour guide!

5.00Peoplesafaris and our guide could not be more helpful. I have never booked a tour by myself, so far away and i was very nervous, but they kept in touch and resolved any queries i had. Our tour was fantastic and to extend it was no trouble. We covered inland desert and dunes, then coastal flamingos and seals and then back inland to Etosha, for a super safari and Okonjima for looking at leopards. Our guide took care of everything and we could just sit back and enjoy the ride. A couple of accommodation issues beyond their control were resolved. We always felt safe and would happily recommend peoplesafaris.com
