After the meet and greet with our representatives at the Nairobi International airport, you shall depart for Lake Naivasha arriving later in the afternoon and check in at the Lake Naivasha Kongoni Lodge. Afternoon boat rides through the lake and have an opportunity to feed the fish eagles. The lake has other wild animals like the hippos and giraffes, antelopes are also found in the vicinity. After breakfast we will drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. We shall have a midmorning and afternoon game drive. Besides the flamingos that the lake is famous for, there are approx. 400 other species of birds visiting the lake and the park. Also, many species of game can be found in the park including the introduced Rothschild’s giraffe, black and white rhino, waterbuck, reedbuck, lion, buffalo, leopard, baboon and many species of plains game. Lake Nakuru houses Kenya’s first rhino sanctuary and one of the largest concentrations of black rhinoceros in the world a large population of white rhino. Among predators are lion, leopard and large pythons hiding in the dense woodlands which may occasionally be seen crossing roads or dangling from trees. Others game include Thomson’s and Grant gazelle, the long- eared leaf-nosed bat, colobus monkey, rock hyrax, hippo, and waterbuck; Impala, striped hyena, bat-eared fox, wildcat, reedbuck and golden cat.

Masai Mara National Reserve
Today, we leave for Masai Mara Reserve by road. Thereafter we shall have an afternoon game drive in the vast mar reserve. This enormous reserve is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains famously known as home of the Big Five: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo and Rhino. Lunch at the Lodge and relax before departing for the afternoon game drive. The Mara Game Reserve is one of the greatest wildernesses in the world. Large mammals are varied, and easy to see. The wild animals found in the park are: Masai Giraffe, Buffalo, Eland and thousands of plain game including Impala, Zebra, both Thomson's and grants Gazelles.

An early morning breakfast, then head for a full day safari in the Reserve with packed lunch in search for its popular well known predators: all the big cats such as lions, cheetahs, leopards, wild dogs, serval cats, hyenas etc. and others like the zebra, giraffe, hippo and the dangerous crocodiles with a visit to Mara river. Mara is the home of ALL THE BIG 5.

5.00Great,5-Day Lake Nakuru & Maasai Mara Couples Safari – September 2025 We had an amazing 5-day couples safari with Reny Safaris from 5th September 2025, visiting Lake Nakuru National Park and the Maasai Mara. The itinerary was well planned, allowing us to enjoy excellent game drives, beautiful landscapes, and close wildlife encounters, including rhinos, lions, elephants, and abundant birdlife. The accommodations were comfortable and romantic, perfect for couples, and all logistics were handled smoothly from start to finish. Our safari guide was professional, knowledgeable, and always ensured we had the best wildlife viewing experiences. Special thanks to our tour consultant, Mr. Opolo, for his excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail throughout the planning and the safari itself. 5.00Reny Safaris provided a solid, authentic safari experience. It's not a luxury tour, but it's well run and professional. Lake Nakuru & lake naivasha were great places to visit. The boat ride was scenic with hippos close to the boat and lots of birds. We were lucky to see rhinos, buffaloes and flamingos plus other animals. Masai mara was absolutely the best part of the trip. Game drives were well timed and not rushed. We saw lions, elephants, zebras, giraffes and many many more wild animals. Seeing a lion eating it's prey was the best sight you could have. The hotels were the best with the best service you could ever ask for. Our tour guide Evans was very experienced and knowledgeable about the wild animals also communicating with other guides. A huge and thanks to Japhet and his team for a well organized safari, and checking on us during our trip. I would recommend Reny to everyone looking for a safari in Kenya. ❤️

My 5-day tour of Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara was absolutely incredible and it all began with excellent service from Mr. Japheth, our tour consultant. From my very first inquiry, Japhet was attentive, knowledgeable, and truly took time to understand what I wanted from this trip. He helped tailor the itinerary and answered all my questions quickly and professionally. The game drives were fantastic: we saw flamingos at Lake Nakuru and the Big 5 in Masai Mara in just one day! The accommodations and food were comfortable throughout, and our guide was skilled at finding wildlife and explaining animal behavior.
