We booked this cruise thinking it would be a nice way to see the temples but honestly it exceeded all our expectations. The experience from the moment we landed in Luxor was smooth. They picked us up from the airport which took away so much stress. The ship itself was comfortable and clean. Our cabin had a big window overlooking the Nile and watching the river go by each morning was the best part. We visited the Valley of the Kings and Karnak in Luxor and the scale of those places is mind blowing. You cant really understand how massive those columns are until you stand under them. The admission fee was included in what we paid so no hidden costs which was great. We spent about 4 to 5 hours at each major stop which felt like enough time to see everything without rushing too much. The atmosphere on the ship was relaxed and quiet most of the time. It never felt overcrowded maybe because they limit the number of guests. The staff were all friendly and always had a smile. The guide we had was an Egyptologist and his knowledge was deep. He explained the stories behind the hieroglyphics which made it all come alive. I would say this trip is best for couples who want a mix of relaxation and culture. We met a few families but it felt more romantic and peaceful. One morning we woke up early and saw the sun rise over the palm trees on the river bank. That image is stuck in my head. It was just perfect.

I went on this cruise alone and I was a bit worried about being bored but it turned out to be the best decision. The experience was very well organized from start to finish. I met other solo travelers on the boat and we ended up hanging out during the excursions. The private excursions part is what sold me. You are not in a huge group so you can move at your own pace. I spent a long time just sitting at the Kom Ombo temple watching the sunset because I didnt feel rushed. The admission fee was covered so I didnt have to worry about pulling out cash all the time. The length of each visit was generous. We had about three hours at Edfu which was enough to explore every corner. The atmosphere on the ship was calm and the crowd was a mix of ages but not too many people. The staff were super attentive. One of them remembered my name after the first day and always asked if I needed anything. Best for solo travelers who want a safe and easy way to see Egypt. I made friends with a couple from Canada and we still talk. The guide told us stories about the ancient rituals that happened at Philae temple and I got goosebumps. I also liked that they dropped me off at Aswan airport at the end. No stress at all.

The highlight for me was simply sailing itself The experience of watching the riverbanks change from day to day The admission fee is worth it for the sailing days alone The length of visit includes enough sailing time to appreciate it The atmosphere on deck while sailing is pure bliss The crowd size spreadsout so everyone has a view The staff serve drinks as you watch the world go by This is best for people who love being on the water A short story We passed traditional feluccas and waving farmers Kids swimming by the bank shouted hello The slow pace of river life is contagious Luxor Tours Bastet Travel chooses a great itinerary with perfect sailing legs

This cruise was a mix of calm and wonder. I wasn’t sure what to expect from the cabins or the food, but both turned out better than expected. Our room was tidy and cool, and meals were full of flavor. The best moment? We were sailing between Kom Ombo and Aswan when a power outage hit briefly. Instead of panic, the crew calmly lit lanterns and shared stories until it came back. It turned into an unplanned bonding moment that felt very real. Our guide, Samah, made the temples come alive with her vivid storytelling, especially in Luxor. Every site had its own vibe, and she captured it perfectly. The staff was always nearby if we needed anything but never hovered. I appreciate how decisions were made quickly when needed—professional from start to end. I truly didn’t expect to feel so connected to the journey. Thank you to everyone who made it so meaningful

The Nile Cruise Concerto was a real revelation. Our guide, Mohamed, offered us a total immersion in Egyptian history with a perfect command of French. Every stopover was magical: the majestic temples, the natural landscapes, and above all the serene atmosphere of the Nile. On board, the service was impeccable and the staff always smiling. The meals were varied and tasty, a successful blend between local and international cuisine. A trip not to be missed to discover the essence of ancient Egypt in absolute comfort.

Travelling on the *Sonesta St George Nile Cruise* is a very comfortable trip. The food in the restaurant is exquisite and delicious, surprising everyone from traditional Egyptian to international cuisine. Our guide, Melvat, is very professional and she introduces us to the history of each attraction in fluent Chinese, making the whole trip full of learning and fun. The boat was clean and comfortable and the staff were always smiling and meticulous. The natural beauty of the Nile along the way is breathtaking and haunting.
