You will be picked up from your hotel after breakfast for a drive to Serengeti. On your way, you will pause at the Ngorongoro Crate Rim for a scenic view and photographs. On arrival, you will start your game drive. You'll have picnic lunch in the afternoon and continue on an afternoon game drive where sunset is surreal. After the game drive, you will head to your campsite for dinner and sleep.

On this day, you will wake up early and have your full breakfast, then you'll head out to witness the Great Migration. You may also opt for balloon safari at a separate fee. The peak migration time is between June and October in the Northern Serengeti, where the wildebeests cross the Mara River to enter Maasai Mara NP in Kenya. During this time, a million and a half of these majestic animals travel throughout the year to look for fresh grazing pasture and follow the rainfall for better water sources. The next best time to witness Migration is during the calving season from January to March in the Southern Serengeti part called Ndutu. In this time, the wildebeest and Zebras give birth to around 8000 newborns per day. These defenseless newborns are a big attraction for the predators looking for an easy meal. This means a lot of hunting scenes for you. You will have a picnic lunch in the afternoon, and in the evening, you will head back to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

You will wake up early to see the Sunrise in Serengeti, have breakfast, and head for a morning game drive until early afternoon. Head back to campsite for a hot lunch and packing ready for Serengeti's exit to Ngorongoro's Simba Campsite for your dinner and overnight.

After an early breakfast, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater on a journey to find the black rhino, the hardest animal to spot. Inside this beautiful crater, you will experience Africa’s version of Noah’s Ark, with a vast variety of wildlife including elephants, hyenas, big cats, rhinos, and more. In the afternoon, you will stop for lunch at the Hippo Lake and then enjoy another game drive as you ascend back to the crater rim. You will return to a hotel in Karatu for dinner and overnight stay ready for your last day anticipation.

Pick up from the hotel after breakfast to Tarangire National Park. You will have a full day game drive inside this park. Tarangire covers a two thousand eight hundred square kilometer area. Wild animals drink water from the Tarangire river, where the name Tarangire comes from. The park has major attractions, including many large herds of elephants, tree climbing pythons, and baobab trees. Also you will be able to see lions, leopards and other animals. You will have lunch in the afternoon. Depending on your travel itinerary, in the evening, you will head back to Arusha for your drop off to the Airport or your hotel.

5.00Our 5 days, 4 nights camping safari was mind blowing experience. We explored Tarengire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater. Our guide Elia was just cool, and his experience really showed he anticipated animal movement and shared fascinating details that made sightings more meaningful. The safari vehicle was comfortable, and our driver never felt tired, and he skillfully gave us a safe game drive. We deeply appreciate and were very satisfied with Kibo Mawenzi Safaris for making our 5 day authentic.

5.00Our 5-day expedition to Ndutu during the 1st week of December 2025. This Tanzanian journey with Kibo Mawenzi Safaris felt like stepping directly into nature's greatest arena. Each morning began with a crisp breeze and the sound of distant hooves as the vast herds moved. The sheer number of animals was astonishing – thousands of animals moving together in perfect harmony. We followed the herds of predators, especially cheetahs and lions, who were displaying behaviors we had only ever seen in documentaries. Our guide Evans made the whole experience even more meaningful with his patience, sense of humor and deep understanding of the ecosystem. Each game drive was different; some moments were slow and peaceful, others were wild and action-packed. The evenings were equally magical, with star-filled open skies and a cozy atmosphere at the camp. The staff treated us warmly and made sure we were always comfortable. This trip gave us an intimate, raw and beautifully authentic connection with the wildlife. We left grateful, inspired, and eager to return one day.

5.00Spending 5 days on safari in Tanzania with my girlfriend was honestly one of the most special memories in our life. We were very grateful to the Kibo Mawenzi team for making our journey safe and memorable. The Serengeti was the first place that truly made us stop and just breathe it all in - endless plains, golden light, and animals everywhere we turned. Seeing a pride of lions up close and hearing them growl softly was something we'll never forget. Our guide was perfect for us, he was very knowledgeable and friendly. Elephants moving quietly beside our vehicle, giraffes stretching into the sky. Each game drive surprised us with something new, from a cheetah on the hunt to hundreds of wildebeest crossing the plains. Ngorongoro Crater was like stepping into another world - the view from above alone was worth the trip, but driving inside and seeing rhinos, zebras, and flamingos made it unforgettable. Sharing this adventure together made it even more special.

5.005 day Tanzanian safari was our first time safari experience with Kibo Mawenzi. We were satisfied with them bcz they met our all expectations. We visited Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Lake Manyara turned out to be the perfect combination of scenery, wildlife, and well-paced adventure. Our adventure began early on the first morning, and from the moment my wife and I stepped into the safari vehicle, we felt an exciting sense of anticipation. We really enjoyed the camp, felt very comfortable and safe. Guide Joseph was very helpful for us. He perfectly explained our lots of curious questions. This trip gave us unforgettable memories-simple moments, mind blowing scenery, and experiences that brought us closer in the best way.

5.00Our 4-day camping safari in Tanzania was truly the perfect one for our children. We we arrived Kibo team welcomed us very warmly. Before the trip the communication was well and they explained about our safari plan. We explored Tarengire Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. We started in Tarangire, where elephants walked gracefully through the baobab forests. The highlight for me was sunrise over Serengeti - watching the golden light stretch across the plains felt surreal. The camping setup was comfortable, and even though it was rustic, it added to the authenticity of the experience. The last day exploring was the Ngorongoro Crater an awe-inspiring place where we saw rhinos, and countless animals other species in one spot. This safari redefined adventure for us.

Our guide was exceptional, full of knowledge and enthusiasm that made the journey even more meaningful. The camp were eco-friendly, comfortable, and offered delicious food with stunning sunset views. One of my favorite parts was sitting by the campfire at night, listening to distant roars and stories from our driver. Tanzania’s wildlife is pure magic. We booked a good tour organizer the Kibo Mawenzi Safaris team. We 1st explored Tarengire. We saw many animals so close up. Then Serengeti National Park had awesome nature and wildlife views. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Our camping safari was not only enjoyable but also to learn a lot for our children.
