We’ve just returned from a memorable journey through Oman and engaged Sunshine Tours for a private, tailor-made itinerary covering Muscat, the wadis, the desert, and the Jabal mountain regions. While the first day did not quite meet our expectations in terms of vehicle comfort and attentiveness, we shared our concerns with Sunshine Tours, especially given the long drives planned for the following days. What truly stood out was how swiftly and professionally the team responded. By the next day, arrangements were seamlessly made for a newer 4×4 and a different guide — a clear reflection of their commitment to guest experience. From that point onward, our journey was elevated in every way by our guide, Badar Alhasni. Badar was exceptional — calm, attentive, and consistently thoughtful. He checked in on us regularly, anticipated our needs, and added a personal, human touch that transformed the experience from a simple tour into a refined and comfortable journey. His patience, professionalism, and genuine care made long drives effortless and enjoyable. In luxury travel, it is not the absence of challenges that defines quality, but how they are handled. Sunshine Tours demonstrated this beautifully, and Badar was the true highlight of our Oman experience. We would not hesitate to recommend them for travellers who value comfort, responsiveness, and authentic hospitality.

Five days in Oman and I’m honestly impressed. The capital is clean, calm, and surrounded by dramatic mountains and sea. The grand mosque is absolutely stunning — huge, detailed, and incredibly peaceful. It’s one of those places that actually feels special, not just “nice for photos.” The day trips were the highlight. Crystal-clear water, canyon swims, desert sunsets that look unreal, and nights so quiet you can actually hear the wind moving across the sand. Everything felt safe, organized, and authentic. Oman is beautiful, underrated, and 100% worth it.

I was in Oman with the V500 agency from Romania, a partner of Sunshine Tours Oman. The tour lasted a week, during which we traveled with the agency's guides (Khalil, Ali, Naser and Ahmad) who were with us at every moment, making us feel comfortable. They were friendly, attentive to our needs, open and responsible. As for Oman, it is a fairy tale country. Every day you see a different landscape, you live new experiences like in One Thousand and One Nights. I recomand .

Excellent trip in the hands of our charming and knowledgeable driver and guide Khalid of Sunshine Tours. Historical and modern day insight into the the varied and beautiful country that is Oman, from the turtles burying their eggs on the magnificent beaches , stunning mountain and gorge vistas , ancient towns and the rolling sand dunes. Khalid assisted us over transversing the pools and boulders of the wadis, to tasting the multitude of local dates and sweets, to setting up and preparing a sunset tea for us on the high sand dunes. A memorable trip.

We had an amazing tour around Oman led by Aziz. He taught us so much about Omani and Arabic culture and history and took us for some delicious meals. He showed us the beautiful scenery in the desert, mountain and old towns and took us to Nizwa fort and Jabreen castle which was so interesting and stunning architecture. He was a great driver and very accommodating of our wants throughout the trip. He took us to some great restaurants and plenty of karak tea. I can’t recommend enough and Aziz was an amazing host. We loved our tour and felt very comfortable the whole time.

The arrangement of the whole trip was flawless from start to end. We planned the itinerary with Maymona from Italy, then our driver Ali joined us at the airport at the time of arrival and drove us around for all the 9 days following the plan. Hotels, transfers and restaurants (which we asked recommendations for) were perfectly in line with our expectations. We added last minute the snorkeling at Daymaniyat Islands and Maymona and Ali helped us with the logistics. A huge thank you goes to mr Ali for having been so kind, pleasant and helpful that we wish we'd meet him again in our next trip to Oman!
