You will start the day with a scenic drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park, famous for its majestic baobab trees and the largest elephant herds in Tanzania. On an exciting game drive, guests will explore the park’s diverse landscapes and may spot lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffalo, and an incredible variety of birds. At midday, the group will enjoy a picnic lunch at one of Tarangire’s beautiful picnic sites, offering the chance to relax while surrounded by wildlife and panoramic views. In the afternoon, the adventure continues with more wildlife viewing before driving to Karatu, a lush highland town near the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Here, travelers will check into their lodge for dinner and overnight, ready for the next day’s journey.

After an early breakfast, travelers depart Karatu and drive through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with breathtaking views over the crater rim. Along the way, guests will visit a traditional Maasai village, experiencing the Maasai way of life, traditional dances, and cultural storytelling—a unique opportunity to connect with one of Tanzania’s most iconic communities. Afterward, the journey continues into the legendary Serengeti National Park, home to vast plains and incredible wildlife. Guests will enjoy an afternoon game drive en route to Central Serengeti, spotting lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, giraffes, and zebras. Depending on the season, travelers may also witness parts of the Great Wildebeest Migration. A picnic lunch will be served in the park, surrounded by wildlife and breathtaking landscapes. You will enjoy a full-day game drive with a packed picnic lunch served in the park, maximizing time in the wilderness. After an early breakfast, travelers depart Central Serengeti and drive toward the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Descend 600 meters to the crater floor for a half-day game drive in one of the most wildlife-rich places on earth. Guests may spot elephants, lions, buffalo, zebras, hippos, and—if lucky—the rare black rhino. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed at a scenic spot inside the crater, surrounded by breathtaking views. The day begins with a visit to Lake Duluti, a tranquil volcanic crater lake surrounded by forest. The trip was well organised, smooth, and full of unforgettable moments over the five days we spent exploring. Seeing iconic wildlife in their natural habitat was a dream come true, especially for our children, who were absolutely thrilled throughout the experience. Witnessing the migration at the river was a once-in-a-lifetime sight that we feel very lucky to have experienced. The team on the ground was courteous, well-informed, and easy to communicate with in English (in particular Sohail and Ameer, amazing hosts).
