The Marangu Route is also known as the “Coca Cola” or “tourist” route. It is the easiest and shortest route to the summit. This is also the only route with the comforts of sleeping huts at every camp site with solar lights and comfortable beds. The huts are communal, and the bunks have a sponge mattress and pillow. There are 60 beds at both Mandara and Kibo Huts and 120 beds at Horombo Hut. Bathrooms and running water are available at the two lower huts. Mens’ and ladies’ latrines are available at the last camp but are very basic.
All climbing groups, often from several countries around the world, share meals in dining huts providing a jovial and energetic atmosphere. Soft drinks, bottled water, and beer may be for sale at the huts. Bring small Tanzanian bills to purchase these items (prices increase with elevation).

This was my first experience with Three Peaks Safari. The management gave their best in terms of pricing, services, support team to make this experience for me and my clients a life time journey. We had some of the best 6 days of our life with their professional guide, chef and entire crew on mountain, who literally saved our lives on the summit and ensured that we return with a successful summit while being safe. The food was delicious. Loved our guide and his cheerful personality. Management was responsive, responsible and caring. They made us feel at home beyond a commercial relationship. Special thanks to Rafael, Gerald and Gabriel. Definitely, I would love to bring more clients of Adventures dot Global to do Kilimanajaro with you guys!

We (a group of 2) booked Three peaks Tanzania safari for a 5 day Summit of Mount Kiliminjaro vis the Marangu Route and a 5 day safari. Our trip started off amazing right from the start, Mary picked us up from the airport and warmly welcomed us to thier beautiful cournty. They even stopped on the side of the road to let us pick sunflowers and took us shopping in the market before taking us to our adorable boutique hotel. We felt safe immediatly with them. Our hotel before leaving on our trek was clean and safe. Trekking with Three peaks Tanzania safari was amazing, our guides were so knowlegable, funny, kind and encouraging. Our crew worked so hard for us and were so fun to spend the week with, teaching us swahilli and teaching us about thier country and culture. Our chef, Richard was AMAZING! So much so that we asked him to make a cook book to take his recipies home. We would not have made it to the top of Kili with out thier guidance and encouragement. An experience we will cherish forever. On our 5 day safari we had Fredy for a guide and he was a true professional. We kept getting "lucky" seeing the big 5 but i think it was really Fredy's skill as a guide and his vast knowledge of the animals behavior and knowing where they were likely to be, when. While on our trip we had a family emergency back home and Fredy was so comforting and made us feel supported and went out of his way to get us to wifi to help us contact our family back in the United States. I can't say enough about him or Three peaks Tanzania safari. Our trip to Tanaznia is one I will cherish for the rest of my life and we spend 10 days with Three peaks Tanzania safari. Thank you Three peaks Tanzania safari for the trip of a lifetime!!!!

Rafael is incredibly kind and his team made our trek up Kilimanjaro an unforgettable experience. They were very knowledgeable, patient, funny, and positive. The food was excellent (and always a lot!), the porters always had a smile on their face when we got to the camp to meet them, and the guides passion and resilience is undoubtably the reason we were successful in summiting Kilimanjaro! I strongly reccomend this team to join you on your Kilimanjaro journey! Cheers from Canada
