Absolutely perfect. Fantastic crew, lovely catamaran, turtles swimming at our first stop, tons of fish and a shipwreck at our second. Great food and drink, nice sailing companions. Only 12 guests, room to spread out.

Just returned from an amazing day out. Wonderful experience, great food, drink and professional staff. Swan with sea turtles, spotted string Ray, ship wreck and coral reef. I would highly recommend.

Probably our highlight on beautiful Barbados and we’ve had a pretty amazing visit enjoying all the island has to offer. From the moment you arrive Chad and his fantastic crew made us very welcome. The drinks and really delicious food flowed the entirety of our cruise. We went under sail very quickly, the snorkelling stops were brilliant. The crew were very patient with those new to snorkelling and even helped non swimmers get in the water safely, incredible service. An amazing sunset rounded off this special Cruise. Lots of competition in this area, we wanted something smaller and this company delivered and so much more. Calabaza just wanted all their passengers to enjoy, everyone left them with big smiles. Highly recommend.

The best 5 hours of our holiday so far! From the moment we were picked up from our hotel by Elroy, who gave us an entertaining commentary and island history on the way, to the moment we left the boat we couldnt have been looked after better. Captain Ben, Rommel and Mikie were our hosts on board and made sure we had the best time. The bar was open the minute we boarded! We opted for coffee first and considered 9.25 a far more civilised time to have a rum punch! We were then offered fruit along with warm banana bread and quiches, which were delicious. We sailed up the coast to our first stop. All the gear was provided and Mikie did a great job leading everyone into the water to the turtles. The second stop was full of beautiful fish and a wreck to look at with a third stop for lunch and a swim. All washed down with a passion fruit mimosa and a glass ot two of rose wine. Our glasses were never empty! Thanks to the whole team for a fantastic day out in Barbados!

We truly enjoyed our lunch cruise with our crew. The food was outstanding and everything was top notch. The snorkeling was ‘meh’. I hate that the turtles get fed to be seen but I understand why. Having traveled all over the world and seen turtles and aquatic wildlife without feeding them, I prefer that.

Wonderful trip. The crew were great from the moment we boarded. Food was plentiful and high quality; the open bar was free flowing (is rum punch at 9:25 a good idea? Yes!). Two very good snorkelling stops, plus a lovely lunch stop at Sandy Lane to swim and stroll along the beach. We had 12 people on the trip, and there was plenty of room to move around and enjoy the trip. The crew always had time to chat, and to point out interesting features on the coast. Highly recommended, and I plan to go on the same trip again the next time I return.

Just back from another fabulous Calabaza experience. We used Calabaza last year and weee so impressed we wanted to repeat the experience. Firstly, the communication via email between the office and myself was outstanding. We had certain issues along the way and they did their best to try and accommodate us and we ended up having the perfect day. Our crew for this sailing was captain Chad and his crew members James and Rommel . They couldn’t have been a nicer, more attentive and fun group of gentlemen. The cruise itself has two stops for snorkelling, one with the turtles and then one with a ship wreck and various marine life. Both were hugely enjoyable and we got to see a lot of action. Then there is a very leisurely stop for lunch. On boarding you are offered every conceivable drink you could want and as it was 9 am coffee and tea where the order of the day to start with however the famous Caribbean rum punch (with a Calabaza twist) was also offered. We were then served warm banana bread and warm mini quiche on the way to our first stop. There was plenty of time at each stop and nothing was rushed and because this is a small group of 12 individuals it is a really comfortable, relaxed and enjoyable experience. Lunch was a choice of three salads, rice and macaroni pie, chicken kebabs, fried fish, and garlic bread. As much as you could eat and it was all delicious. There are just no bad words to say about the Calabaza experience. From booking all the way to getting off the catamaran, being picked up and dropped off at your hotel or Villa, and the exceptional Customer service from those in the office to those on the catamaran meant that we are return visitors and we will come again next year when we are in Barbados. Chad, James and Rommel are masters at what they do. They keep the beat going, have local knowledge as you sail up the coast and make sure you bring a pad and pencil to record all Captain Chad’s jokes. He’s hilarious. If you want to do a catamaran experience in Barbados, you would be foolish not to book with Calabaza.

My family and I had the best time on this morning excursion! The 7 of us thoroughly enjoyed our trip with fearless leader Captain Sam, Peter the turtle whisperer and Kai our singing sailor. It was 3 of our first time snorkeling and Peter made us feel very comfortable with the turtles and fish, pointing out some uniquely colourful fish and ensuring we stayed safe. Seeing the shipwrecks was awesome and the equipment (snorkels and flippers) was top notch. The food was also wonderful and the service was second to none. My mom and I both have onion sensitivity and the care shown to our meals and snacks was extremely appreciated; if you have dietary restrictions I can assure you that you will be accommodated and made to feel secure and like it was no trouble, which is so nice. This was the highlight of our Barbados trip! Thanks again, fellas!

The trip was excellent from start to finish. Firstly, what lovely people, they truly looked after us. The food was lovely, and there was a continuous flow of drinks. In the water, they catered for every age, my party ranged from 6 to 79. They made sure everyone was safe whilst ensuring they experienced everything there was, from swimming with the turtles, seeing the reef, to visiting the shipwreck. The whole experience was magical. They put an inflatable in the water to relax on and served lovely food, including chicken, fish, rice, salad and more. I will definitely go on this trip again on my next visit. 5*plus! Thank you to Ben and his crew, the day was magnificent!
