Your tour begins from our heliport located just minutes from the Zion National Park Entrance. Your flight will depart north taking in views of Smith Mesa, Zion, and Red Butte Mountain. Next take in the breathtaking sheer cliffs of the Canaan wilderness area!

Zion National Park does not permit any low altitude passenger tour aircraft to fly directly over the park, instead you will enjoy stunning views looking into the park from the perimeter.

Due to comfort and weight / balance of the aircraft, passengers weighing over 250lbs (114 kg/ 17.9 st) will be required to purchase an additional seat. This is payable directly to the tour operator on the day of the tour

Lap children are considered infants under the age of two (2) years. Proof of age is required at the time of checkin. Children two (2) years and above must purchase a seat at the applicable retail price.

This tour requires a minimum of (5) five passengers to operate. If the minimum number of passengers has not been met, you will be offered an alternate date / time or a full refund.

What To Expect

Zion National Park

Zion National Park offers some of the most beautiful sightseeing and outdoor experiences in the USA. This 55-mile helicopter flight provides views of Zion National Park, Kolob Canyon, Smith Mesa, and the Canaan Mountain Wilderness Area. Departing from our private heliport located just minutes from both the town of Springdale and the main National park entrance. Following a brief check-in process, your pilot will escort you to your waiting helicopter. Zion's spectacular kaleidoscope of color opens up before you as the helicopter soars north between Smith Mesa and Zion National Park. Your experienced pilot will provide insights and history of the park describing the geology that formed the dark red rock fingers of Zion’s Kolob Canyons and the Red Butte Mountain range. Your flight will continue over the breathtaking Canaan Mountain Wilderness Area famous for its stunning 2000 foot sheer cliffs before returning safely to the heliport.

The 30 minute ride was amazing! The ability to see some of Bryce, lots of Zion, a bit of the Grand Canyon from above is unmatchable... the pilot shared great detail too. My only complaint is that with 6 passengers, we were quite stuffed in together.

The service by Captain Kyle was stellar. We had an 89 year old with us and o wanted to treat her and my 25 year old daughter to a helicopter ride. I asked about the feasibility of getting her in/out of the aircraft we determined if we could get her IN we would leave her there and do all briefings at the craft. It was seamless. captain Kyle went above and beyond and got an umbrella to shade her and an icepack to keep her cool while the briefs were given and we all strapped in. SUPERIOR SERVICE!

We were thrilled with our 55-mile helicopter tour of Zion. Everyone at Zion Helicopter Tours was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Michelle went out of her way to accommodate our schedule, and Jesse was a terrific photographer. Our pilot, Kyle, made sure we had a flawless flight, and gave all five passengers a spectacular view of the terrain that would have been impossible to see by land. We have been on several other helicopter sightseeing rides, and this was by far the best. Worth every penny.

The staff and pur pilot, Jordan were so much fun and very kind. We took off exactly on time for our flight. Jordan was a great pilot! He gave us the scoop on what we were seeing without overdoing it with a lot of favts. Thus we were able to relax and enjoy the view. This trip was well worth the cost-it was amazing!
