What a great way to see I demand. Highly recommended. Our guide "Goodjohn" (phonetic spelling) was very knowledgeable and was never without a story.

This was an incredible trip and our guide, Ronan, was a huge part of that. He's energetic, has a great sense of humor, and will tell you all sorts of stories about the places you're visiting. The places we got to see were absolutely amazing and having a guide that is passionate about what they do is the cherry on top.

Just returned from our 6 day around Iceland trip, actually we did the 8 day trip which is the 6 day plus 2 one-day trips included, and can't stop talking about our experience amongst ourselves and friends. Our guide, Ronan, was AMAZING! They say if you love what you do you never work a day in your life...well Ronan was not working on these 6 days! Aside from providing a lot of history and information about Iceland, he felt like one of us...still amazed at what Iceland has to offer and he made his guests feel the same. He even converted some of us into "believers" of the elves. Would highly recommend this trip and if possible booking with Ronan. Some of the hotels were a little underwhelming however they served their purpose, a place to rest a weary head for a few hours before the next day of excitement.

Great trip with Arctic Adventures. Great Icelandic guide, very friendly and knowledgeable. The hotels were also (except for one) very well located, clean, and had very good breakfast. The mini-bus was brand new and very clean. There was enough time at the sights, many nice stops, and a package tour is probably the most affordable option in Iceland. The only downside: the whale watching had to be canceled due to bad weather.

We had an amazing 6-day tour of Iceland with Bjorn Ingi, of Arctic Adventures. He was friendly, funny and engaging and showed great energy, passion and knowledge throughout the whole trip. In fact, his knowledge of the history, politics, geography and geology of Iceland are amazing and added to our enjoyment of the tour. He knows the best places to visit, the most scenic routes and even brought us to a few places that were not on the itinerary. He is a popular, well-known (and well-received) personality - he seems to know everyone! Be sure to ask for Bjorn as your guide!

Arctic Adventures is trustworthy and a reputable tour company. I highly recommend:- Linas Kumpaitis - who made our tour totally awesome. Linas is a very experienced, educated and professional tour guide plus he is an excellent safe driver. Linas has the quality of humility. He introduced himself to us with a personal life story and somehow managed to form a cohesive group out of 13 complete strangers. We were quiet at first, a mixed bunch of singles, couples, 5 men, 8 women, aged ~20-80, from a range of interests, occupations and nationalities. We became a group who looked out for each other, shared plenty, laughed a lot and became friends. Despite the distances between us we are still connected by Linas’ suggestion of our whatsapp group. Everyone loved the Arctic Adventure that Linas took us on. We definitely got to experience the very best of the entire Icelandic island in those 6 days. Far too many to mention but I will try. Linas provided local knowledge of every area (most places unpronounceable!) The amazing contrasts of landscape from raging waterfalls, glaciers, icebergs and tranquil fjords, to geothermal bubbling mud eruptions, geysers, expansive lava fields and volcanoes, all beautiful in their own way, even the vast expanses of barren Icelandic pale yellow grass tussocks and moss was almost ethereal. Linas explained the history, culture and told us stories of Icelandic Folklore. We had wonderful accomodations and a variety of local and familiar food. The home cooked dinner in the Wilderness Retreat was not to be missed while others enjoyed relaxing in the hot spring. Our Glacier hike and whale watching experiences - also amazing. We visited a great original Icelandic horse property we drank hot chocolate with home baked rye bread from a stone geothermal bakery in the ground. Linas took us on a bonus detour to see Puffins. Possibly prompted by my Puffin beanie! Definitely on my wishlist, actually the only thing I told my grandkids I hoped to see. We were literally so close to them, when I really only expected to see Puffins nesting in distant cliffs - a massive highlight for sure. It was a seamless very well planned balance of everything we did. Linas thoughtfully provided options for various budgets and fitness levels, stops for breaks were plentiful and toilet facilities good. There was never any pressure to do anything unwanted. Linas you are solely responsible for making our Arctic Adventure truely memorable, one we will never forget, thank you.

We just completed an incredible six-day tour around Iceland with Arctic Adventures, and it was absolutely fantastic. Our guide, Linas, was exceptional, knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely passionate about sharing Iceland’s beauty with us. He made every moment of the trip memorable and went above and beyond to help us out. If you’re considering this tour, I highly recommend booking it, especially if you can get Linas as your guide.
