Antigua

We will make a small visit through the center of the beautiful city of Antigua. We can coordinate this with our clients according to their arrival time in Guatemala.

Pacaya Volcano

We will make our first hiking adventure in Guatemala to acclimatize, visiting the Pacaya volcano. This is an easy trail to do and where if we have good weather we can appreciate the hot rocks with lava from the volcano. Later we will return to the city of Antigua to continue our tour.

Antigua

After returning from our hiking, we will visit the city of Antigua to walk through its beautiful streets and appreciate the colonial architecture of the area. We will make a city tour through the most important attractions to know in this city surrounded by volcanoes, its churches, the arch of Santa Catalina, the Capuchinas convent, among others. At the end of this tour you will have free time to visit the shops and other places of interest in this city.

Acatenango

We will start our day with breakfast at the hotel, then we will go to start our famous hiking to the Acatenango volcano. We will start this tour in the morning, we will have lunch during the ascent, to arrive at the camp in the afternoon at about 3,600m high and be able to appreciate this majestic volcano and its twin, the volcano of fire, in good weather. Once at the camp you will have free time where you can choose to take another additional walk and be able to closely appreciate the explosions of the fire volcano, if the good weather allows you to watch the sunset. At night we will have dinner in front of the volcano and appreciate its nocturnal explosions. It is optional for the group to do an additional hike at 3am to the summit of the Acatenango volcano and appreciate the sunrise. Finally we return we will have our breakfast to start our descent.

Antigua

We will return to our hotel in Antigua Guatemala in the afternoon and you will have free time to rest or learn more about the city.

Lago de Atitlan

First thing in the morning we move to the small city of Panajachel to visit the beautiful Lake Atitlán, one of the most beautiful lakes in the world surrounded by its imposing volcanoes.

Once we arrive at Lake Atitlán we will take our private boat tour to visit a beautiful nature reserve where the most adventurous can jump from a trampoline or simply swim and relax in the waters of the lake.

After the visit to the nature reserve, we will continue with our boat tour on the lake to visit other of the small towns that are next to the lake. On this next visit you will be able to walk and take the famous photo on the street of the umbrellas, we will make several visits to small local entrepreneurs, we will visit a small fabric store to learn how they make local garments, we will visit a place where they will learn how they prepare chocolate , we will visit another place where they make products based on honey, we will visit local artisans and their paintings, to finish with a local coffee tasting.

Antigua

At the end of the day we will return to the city of Antigua Guatemala to enjoy our last night in this magical destination.

Finally we will finish our tour returning to the airport or final destination of our clients.
