I had a 6 day tour. Pick up was punctual and we had a native Icelandic driver/guide. The bus felt cramped and there were 18 people on our trip of mixed nationalities. Everyone spoke English. We hit the ground running with numerous stops on day 1. Including geysers and waterfalls. We finished with a horse ride The sun shone. We arrived at a restaurant for dinner about 7 pm and then went to our hotel for the night. All accommodation was really spotless and had an en-suite. In the morning everyone was prompt and we left on time. It was pouring but dried up later. Another waterfall then black sand beaches. Our guide made sure we had plenty of toilet stops. Glaciers featured, hikes to an ice cave. I cannot recommend this tour enough. We did see the Northern lights and were told how to set our phones for the best shots. The tour finished with a boat trip to see whales, followed by a long drive back to Reykjavík and dropped at our hotel. All over too quickly

This tour was a perfect way to visit the highlights of the ring road on our first trip to Iceland. Our tour guide Jóhann was fun, informative, gave us great insider tips for each location we visited, and made sure we were prepared for the changing weather conditions every day. Our group of 18 people from several different countries all bonded over the trip. We highly recommend this tour!

It was perfect. Good size of people in the group. Visited the 'tourist spots' and a lot of other lovely places. Our guide (Jóhann is absolutely the best) made it familiar, braucht us safe everywhere and always had useful tips what to do,where to eat etc and didn't get tired answering all our questions. We really had a lot of fun with him. We had enough time at all the places. I can highly recommend that tour to everyone.

This was the best trip of my life, a great experience, so much to see, very dense (in the best possible way!). John was amazing, he is very passionate about his work and Iceland, he shared his passion and knowledge for his island with us very genererously! He even added extra stops every day and made sure we had a great experience! All the other guides were also amazing: Syra that guided us in the Katla ice cave, and Voitech who guided us in the glacier hike. Guys thank you so much, both were unforgettable experiences and you played a big role in that :-). Very organised Icelandic company, great way to spend your money :-)

Our trip to Iceland with Troll exceeded all our expectations. The itinerary was well planned and full of surprises each day. The bus ride is smooth, we enjoyed every stop throughout the journey. The weather was nice and cool, with some rain but mostly dry. We love our tour guide, Johann, who brought the land of fire and ice to life with his passion and expertise. He introduced to us Iceland's unique geologic characteristics, regaled us with local stories, shared insights into local culture, and offered pro tips on the best food and shopping experiences. As we marveled at the breathtaking natural beauty that surrounded us, we were also impressed by the great quality of our accommodations. Each hotel was immaculately clean and comfortable, also thoughtfully situated, offering either stunning views or immersion into charming Icelandic towns.

The tour started on 21 March 2025. The mimi bus came on time with a friendly welcome by Thor, an experienced tour guide. During the tour, the following points are highlighted. 1. The schedule was well planned with a variety of wonderful events such as waterfall seeing, glacier hiking, ice-caving, horse riding and whale watching etc. 2. Extra sight-seeing spots were offered by Thor to enrich our tour experience. 3. Detailed explanation by Thor was always available. He was ready to give satisfactory answers whenever any queries were raised. 4. Though no meal was offered, Thor thoroughly planned where and when for teammates to take their meal. 5. As we hired boots for hiking and others, Thor advised us when to use them in due course

Kristinn was our guide for this incredible journey through Iceland. He was an incredible planner. We were able to see Glacier Lagoon, Kayla ice cave, Diamond beach, all of the waterfalls throughout the Golden Circle. We hiked a glacier, rode Icelandic horses, saw a whale, wild reindeer, and many sheep! Kristinn also watched his apps for the Northern Lights and we were able to see the 4 times!! I loved this tour because we stayed in the countryside and small towns and truly got to experience Iceland. We did so much more! Kristinn really brought Iceland alive to us through his stories, history and humor. What a fantastic guide! Thank you Kristinn!!
