Starting from Redhill Aerodrome you'll depart in one of EC120 helicopters or Robinson R44 Helicopters. Spend an hour soaring through the air for a grand tour of England's beautiful south coast.

Due to comfort and weight / balance of the aircraft, passengers weighing over 15 Stone (95 Kg) should contact the carrier before booking.

Flight departure times are subject to availability. Our flights usually operate between 10:00am and 4:00pm on a daily basis.

Flights are subject to suitable weather conditions. In the event of unsuitable weather, you will be offered an alternative date.

What To Expect

Your tour starts at the beautiful Redhill Airfield. Climb aboard one of our modern helicopter fleet and take-off heading south for Gatwick. Passing directly over Gatwick Airport you will get an amazing view of the terminals, taxiways and big airliners coming and going from London’s second biggest airport. Your pilot will be your tour guide and can tell you all about the activities below.

Ouse Valley Viaduct

Following the Brighton mainline you will see the huge Ouse Valley Viaduct sometimes called the Balcombe Viaduct, built in 1842, it is an incredible 450m bridge spanning the Ouse Valley, carrying the London to Brighton railway line, and built from 11 million bricks for the princely sum of £38,500; it is an incredible feet of engineering.

We were very lucky with glorious weather, but even despite that it was a fantastic experience. We felt looked after, instructions were clear, and the whole event felt tailored to making sure we had a great time. Everyone we met was warm, helpful and thoughtful and our pilot gave us so much info and insight into what we were seeing, and a bit of insider knowledge about the rules of flying (esp past Gatwick!). And then even had a great lunch on site and we were reluctant to leave. Absolutely loved it and would gladly consider a repeat visit.

This was my 45th Birthday present and challenge. I am scared of height and this challenge meant a lot. But I never expected to enjoy it so much that I am looking at doing the London tour next. James welcomed us when we go there and he was amazing at putting us at ease. After doing the paperwork, we met our pilot, Chang(please excuse if I got the name wrong). He introduced us to the helicopter, told us about it and answered all my questions. The take off, trip and lading was so smooth. Our pilot was just amazing through out the whole trip. We were blessed with a beautiful day and amazing views. Can't wait to do it again. Thank you to the whole team for making this challenge, trip so nice.

Was an unbelievable experience, with exceptional breathtaking views. Simon the pilot was excellent such a nice man and very informative on the journey. Deffo a must if considering!!!

What an incredible day, one I won’t forget! Our pilot Simon was fantastic. We were nervous at the start but he made us feel completely at ease that by the end I didn’t want it to end! Can’t thank all of the EBG team enough for what an amazing day this was! Can’t recommend enough

After having to postpone because of Lockdown We finally took my 85 year old mother on the Southcoast tour with Bob our pilot On Monday . We loved every minute of it and the whole experience was smooth from start to finish . Great fun !
