Explore the most emblematic points of the lagoon, or modify the route to discover areas far from tourism. 6 hours of deep exploration and adventure where you can get to know: The Pirate Channel, Cocos Island, Bird Island, Cenote Negro, Cenote Esmeralda, Abandoned Hotel, La Bocana, Stromatolite Wall and Rapids entrance. We will sail towards the south of the lagoon and north as well.
This experience is accompanied by drinks (water and beers), lunch (Mexican ceviche or burritos) and snacks (homemade guacamole, mix of local fruits).
In addition! We include a basic sailing course (optional), making this experience unforgettable.

5.00It was amazing the south of the lakes is the best place I really recommend to go their. Very nice time with Ryan and franko. The lagoon is beautiful and very safe you can swim and relax. Food is also very good with a ceviche and guacamole

5.00Fantastic: we were very caring. I advise everyone to favour sailing over all these powerboats. We have sailed in magical places and the captain always pays attention to anchor away from tourists to ensure calm swimming. Extra breakfast and ceviches for lunch. Nothing to say: just THANK YOU to Franco our captain and to the super sailor Javier.

5.00We did a private charter with Colibri and it was an amazing experience. It was my first time sailing, and our guides, Javier and Franco, were GREAT! They took us along the lagoon to different sites, and we got to swim for a while a few times. They cut up fresh fruit for us during one stop, and then made delicious ceviche and guacamole! They were sure to make sure we either had a beer or water in our hands, taking care of all things for us! The lagoon is beautiful and Javier gave us historical facts as well as scientific information about the stromatolites and the migrations of birds in the area.

5.00Very pleasant sailing experience, noiseless, driven by the wind alone, with a very friendly crew of two. They are calm and attentive and understand the importance of respecting the ecosystem in which they navigate. The ride is interesting, the guacamole delicious, and the swimming spots beautiful. For trying both, I can say it’s a thousand times better than motorboats with music. In such an environment, a motorboat seems totally vulgar and absolutely incongruous.

5.00For this 4h outing, Alex and Valencia made us live a suspended moment, which will remain one of our most beautiful memories. The sailboat allows you to navigate without engine noise and this preserves this beautiful place. We were able to discover magical, quiet places and we always avoided the noise of pontoon boats. Alex and Valencia are adorable. We ate delicious fruits and a divine guacamole. We bathed, we dreamed, we laughed. We've learned a lot too. Recommended +++

5.00From the day I booked our tour I was amazed over and over again how professionally all my questions were handled and answered without delay. I prepared this special tour for my wife & me and arranged everything with the help of Grecia by WhatsApp. She also helped me out in matter that didn’t even concern our tour and helped me hook up with the hotel I had booked in Bacalar. Finally due to weather conditions we rescheduled without any problems and went on tour Saturday June 22. Our captain Miguel and his marinero Hazel fulfilled all our expectations of this trip. And more. We spent a peaceful day on the lagoon visiting all major sites and Miguel told us all he knows about the cenotes, the fauna and birds living in this paradise. We are very thankful to all of the Sailing Colibri team for having made this a day we won’t forget. Muchísimas gracias y espero nos vemos pronto. Saludos de Angelica y Michael

5.00Wonderful afternoon aboard the Polaris, a comfortable sailboat of around 10m, which allowed us, with the wind, to cross this magnificent lagoon of Bacalar. Our skipper Miguel was perfect, kind and attentive. He prepared delicious fresh fruit, guacamole and ceviche (the best eaten in Mexico!) all afternoon! Swimming in turquoise water alone in the middle of nature. Everything was perfect . Miguel's explanations in French on the fauna, flora and life of the lagoon were great! An unforgettable break from our stay in the Yucatan! THANKS

5.00Lovely boat tour with great people and food! Hector and Ramon were so nice and took very good care of us. Appreciate the yummy food and good music they introduced us to. You must get out on the lagoon in a boat to fully appreciate it. I highly recommend this company to do it!
