We were on the Ireland to Island tour with David and Jimmy and we loved everything about it. All the details are coordinated and the team works so hard to keep things running smoothly and point us away from crowds and toward so many small things we would have missed wo their guidance. They also arranged superior activities such as a visit to the Skelligs (wow, wow, wow and a shoutout to AquaTerra, Brendan & Elizabeth who are amaaazing), a walking tour of Galway, and a guided hike of the Cliffs of Moher that were informative, unique, and off the beaten path. This was a milestone vacation for our family and Overland and especially David and Jimmy gave us experiences we will remember forever. ☘️

Beautiful scenery! Excellent itinerary ! Comfortable van! Lovely boutique accommodations ! Best of all Conor, our guide - professional, proud to share his country with us, excellent driver, very attuned to his guests, wonderful sense of humor, fun!!! Great being in a van as opposed to a motor coach for seeing places that a motorcoach couldn't go FYI - bring layers, many hotels don't have lifts, lots of walking on uneven surfaces

The hotel accommodations were clean and comfortable. The food, shopping and our guide were all excellent and made our vacation a trip of a lifetime. If you’re looking for adventure, comfort and an experience that will exceed your expectations, then this tour is for you. We would do this trip again. Thanks to our driver/guide Jimmy, who made it all happen and took exceptional care of all the group.

Just got home from the Ireland trip I’ve always dreamed of! Small group is the way to go! I feel like I made life long new friends in addition to experiencing this beautiful country and learning its history. Our guide, Jimmy Murphy went out of his way to make everyone’s trip the very best, from special recognition for those celebrating anniversaries, families and friends vacationing together, and making sure solo travelers were included. We hit almost every spot on the itinerary with the exception of 1 island due to bad weather. Jimmy took us off the beaten path and we found treasures we weren’t expecting that led to experiences I’ll never forget. Quite by accident I experienced a “Trad” night, one of the highlights of my trip. I would recommend this tour and Jimmy to anyone wanting to have a memorable, historical, hysterical good time. And if you are worried about the weather….don’t. Like Jimmy says, it just makes it more dramatic!

We just returned from Overland's unforgettable 7 day "Ireland to Island" tour of Southern Ireland. We booked with Overland based on their five star reviews, and were still a little nervous to see if the tour could live up to them. Truthfully, the tour actually exceeded our expectations! On day one, we met our guide, Cathal, and he took us and our small group on an unforgettable, well paced tour, that included some expected (but still interesting) stops like Blarney Castle and a stunning drive around a segment of the Ring of Kerry; was well as several truly unique highlights... like the magnificent Skellig Michael, a beautiful walking tour of the Cliffs of Moher, a sheep dog demonstration, a scenic bike ride around one of the Aran Islands, and a really fun culinary walking tour through the city of Galway. Cathal took care of the timetable, the tickets and the driving, all we had to do was show up and take it all in. It was so great not to have to worry about all that stress, especially when rain cancelled a planned kayak trip, and Cathal pivoted so quickly and arranged a full day of alternate activities. And he did it all with humor, efficiency, and kindness. Cathal was such a pleasure and so knowledgeable, dropping facts along the way, but also knowing when to pull back and just let the scenery do the talking. What a great guy to have leading our tour. Hotels and breakfasts were included. Most were very nice, small boutique hotels. Clean, casual, but elegant, which fit the vibe for a trip like this. Breakfasts were delicious and hearty. We were on our own for lunch and dinner, but Cathal always gave us recommendations of his favorites. This truly was a wonderful vacation. Ireland is such a beautiful country and well worth the visit -- and we made new friends with the other folks on the tour. Overland managed to show us places that I'm not sure we would have known to see if we tried to make a go of this on our own. We would highly recommend Overland for your next adventure.

We just finished a 7-day tour of Ireland and had such a great experience. The scenery was beautiful and everything was well organized, but what really made the trip was our guide, Patrick O’Mara. Patrick was very knowledgeable and shared lots of interesting stories about Ireland’s history and culture along the way. He also pointed us to great local spots we never would have found on our own. What stood out most was how friendly and easygoing he was. He made everyone feel comfortable and kept the trip running smoothly while still being flexible when needed. By the end of the week, it honestly felt like we were traveling with a friend. It made the whole experience that much more enjoyable. I’d definitely suggest this tour to anyone visiting Ireland.

FIVE STAR !! Fantastic experience with our Ireland small adventure tour—largely thanks to our incredible guide, Pat. His expertise went far beyond the basics: from expertly navigating Ireland’s winding roadways to skillfully managing unexpected situations like farm strikes, he handled everything seamlessly. Pat’s deep knowledge of Irish history brought every stop to life, and his flexibility with changing weather ensured we never missed a beat. He went above and beyond arranging great meals and keeping the itinerary running smoothly. Traveling with two teens can be a challenge, but Pat kept all ages engaged and entertained the entire time—his storytelling, humor, and even his singing made the trip unforgettable. Top-notch service, outstanding organizational skills, and a genuinely warm personality. Highly recommend!

We loved this tour! The best part of this was our amazing guide Pat O'Mara!! He was very informative, had great stories, historical knowledge and a wonderful sense of humor. Our Ireland experience wouldn't have been the same without him. Patrick was very kind and would go beyond expectations to help us all enjoy Ireland. The accommodations were top quality and the activities helped to make it more memorable.
