Our group of 9 friends did 2 nights each at Paro, Thimphu, Punaka and Gangtey. Horsecback riding in Gangtey was a highlight of our trip. We upgraded to 4 star hotels and was well worth it, they were wonderful. Our guide Ranga and driver-Mr Bhim were excellent and professional, they accommodated our requests all along the way. Deepak, CEO of RavenTours was responsive and answered all our questions as we planned our itinerary. Our whole group appreciated our amazing experience made possible by Deepak, Ranga and Mr Bhim. Would highly recommend!!

Our guide, Kheshab, was so kind, knowledgeable and reliable. While the tour itinerary was well balanced and thoughtful, mixing cultural experiences, well selected restaurants and beautiful hikes, as well as whitewater rafting, he was willing to change our itinerary to suit our preferences on the day to include a visit to the Punakha fort and various markets and cafes. Many local people we met know Kheshab and speak highly of him, so we were comforted to know his good reputation precedes him. Our driver, Jincho, was also really kind and dependable. Though both Keshab and Jincho were relatively quiet at first, they are such warm and endearing people and by the end we were all cracking jokes and sharing stories. Couldn’t recommend this tour highly enough!

We are a family of four with 2 teens who traveled to Bhutan for spring break. While my husband and I were very excited about going to Bhutan, our kids were a bit less sure at the onset. But thanks to Deepak and the team at Raven, our 7 days/6 nights trip was a journey of a lifetime and everyone left deeply grateful for the experience. Deepak helped plan the trip and was easily accessible through email and particularly WhatsApp. He is a local but spent time in Canada so communication was easy and seamless. They handled the internal travel including visa (necessary for travel to Bhutan), guide, driver, meals, and entry fares. He also helped us arrange a few special activities including white water rafting (very gentle in March/April), biking, sunrise yoga, and a local homestay with a family for one night. They also prepared a lengthy guide which was super helpful in advance of our trip. Our guide, Ranga, and driver, Drona, were truly kind and reflective of the warmth of the Bhutanese people. They not only served as our guide and driver but they taught us so much about the culture, history, and religion of Bhutan. They made us laugh a lot and I loved how Ranga kept our teens engaged with stories and riddles when we were climbing Tigers Nest and us parents were falling behind and needing many rests along the way! Drona was so kind and shared a love of every dog we met along the way with one of our teens. Bhutan may not be the easiest place to get to but it is well worth the effort. It is truly a special place that values high impact and high value tourism over volume. The scenery is breath taking from the moment you start your descent into Paro airport nestled amongst the Himalayan snow capped mountains; the people so incredibly kind and devoted to their country, religion, and monarchy; and the endless list of fun and interesting activities make this a special and memorable journey. There really isn’t anything we would change but recommend travelers to be ready for various weather changes in one day given the terrain, and try and go when there are local festivals going on because they were really fun and beautiful to watch. In the end, our kids absolutely loved our trip to Bhutan. It was so different and eye opening for them and we were all deeply touched by the experience. We highly recommend Raven and their team to help plan and execute a special and memorable trip to Bhutan!!

If you are considering a trip to Bhutan, Raven Tours is an excellent choice. Deepak, the behind the scenes organizer was professional, quick to respond to questions, and put together an itinerary for us that worked well for what we wanted to see and do in Bhutan. Our tour guide, Keshab, was knowledgeable, courteous and made last minute changes/adjustments as needed. We had a fantastic driver as well - I felt very safe next to Tsaring, and he had a fun personality to boot.

Raven tours created an individual itinerary to our likings, including Paro, Thimpu, Gangtey and Punakha as stops on the journey. Well done and thank you, Deepak! Our guide, Zangmo, and driver, Tshering, made us feel welcome from arriving at the airport and during the whole trip. They provided an unparalleled service, were very caring throughout out and impressively navigated spontaneous adaptations in the itinerary (being it due to bad weather, preferences or even getting us to attend the 1st Global peace prayer festival which was probably a once in a lifetime opportunity for us) They were truly great ambassadors of their great country and very knowledgeable about their culture and tried to answer every question we had. Over time we became specialists in Buddhism, Bhutanese music and traditions. We were truly touched by all the attention to detail and love for their country. Subsequently we developed a friendship and it was tough to leave. Thank you for a truly unique experience Zangmo, Tshering and raven tours!

Our trip to Bhutan was amazing. We had so many unique experiences that Raven arranged. Deepak, the owner, was so responsive to my emails and my requests for certain activities. Raven truly does offer a unique personalized service! One of them hiking to and spending the night in a monastery! When my husband and I travel we always like to learn and experience how everyday people live, their culture etc. This trip was definitely that! Our guide Hem, was fantastic. He really listened and knew what we were looking for in this trip and he made it happen. Chorten our driver was a great driver. The roads can be pretty crazy but we always felt safe, so safe we just enjoyed the views along the way, and were just glad we weren't driving! Both Hem and Chorten did so many things along the way to make our trip so enjoyable and unforgettable. Bhutan is a beautiful country with amazing people. If you have thought about going, do it! You won't be disappointed. And you definetily won't be disappointed in Raven!

Around three months back when me and a bunch of friends decided to visit Bhutan for the first time in our lives, the burden of planning and executing the itinery fell on me. After establishing base with a few travel agents i also reached out to Deepak from Raven tours. Right from the begining his approach to planning our trip was very tech savy and stood out from the work done by other agents. He understood our questions, requirements and aspirations very quickly and stiched a wonderful itinery together very swiftly. The documentation and pre arrival formalities were very smooth. The pricing of Raven tours is competitive to other agents and the small premium they charge is well deserved. Upon landing we were well received by the guide (Rango Peter) and the driver (Jeet) who were very welcoming throughout our trip and their warm hospitality is typical of the Bhutanese people everywhere we travelled. We rate Raven tours very high on all fronts and for sure we are coming back for multiple visits to this wonderful country and in the able hands of Deepak and his team. PS: the raven signature experience visit to the monastery, the homestay experience and the hikes to Lungchutse trail and Tigers Nest stand out as a must must do!

We joined Raven Tour for our Bhutan trip, and it turned out amazing. Our guide Pema and driver Chorten took care of us in every way possible. They made the whole journey totally worry free. They are really caring people, we felt like we were traveling with friends, even family. The hotels we stayed in were all well chosen, and you can tell they checked everything before bringing us there. The places we visited were arranged according to what we like, and they always made sure we were feeling good and enjoying ourselves. The highlight was our hike to Tiger’s Nest. Both Pema and Chorten hiked up together with us. Pema made sure my wife was safe on the wet and slippery trail after the rain, we really appreciate that extra care. We felt very lucky to have met them. Thank you Raven Tour, Pema, and Chorten for giving us such a wonderful time in Bhutan. Names samey Kadrinchey Charo!
