Arusha Region

Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, a scenic drive through the Maasai plains that takes approximately 2–3 hours. Upon entering the park, embark on a thrilling full-day game drive where you’ll encounter herds of elephants, tree-climbing lions, and ancient baobab trees. As the sun sets, retreat to Lake Manyara Serena Lodge, perched on an escarpment with breathtaking views over the Rift Valley and Lake Manyara. Lake Manyara

Today is devoted to exploring the diverse ecosystems of Lake Manyara National Park. Start the day with a game drive through the dense groundwater forest, home to blue monkeys and baboons, before venturing to the lake’s edge to witness flocks of flamingos and hippos wallowing in the shallows. Keep an eye out for the park’s famous tree-climbing lions. In the evening, opt for a night game drive to observe nocturnal wildlife. Return to Lake Manyara Serena Lodge, where you can unwind with modern amenities and panoramic views under the stars.

Serengeti National Park

An early departure takes you to Lake Eyasi for an unforgettable cultural experience with the Hadzabe tribe, one of Africa’s last remaining hunter-gatherer communities. Join them on a morning hunt, learn how they gather honey, and witness traditional fire-making skills. After the visit, journey through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area into the vast plains of Serengeti National Park. Enjoy an afternoon game drive before settling into Into Wild Africa Tented Camp. Serengeti National Park

Rise with the sun for a full-day safari in the Serengeti, exploring its rich landscapes and tracking the famed Great Migration (location depending on the season). Whether in the Central Seronera area with year-round wildlife or at seasonal migration hotspots, you’ll have the chance to see predators like lions and cheetahs as well as grazing wildebeest and zebras. Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Enjoy a final morning game drive in the Serengeti before making your way toward the Ngorongoro Highlands. En route, stop at Olduvai Gorge (optional), a significant archaeological site known as the cradle of mankind. Continue your scenic drive to Karatu, a lush highland area on the edge of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Ngorongoro Crater

Descend 600 meters down the steep, forested walls into the vast expanse of the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera. This ancient, self-contained ecosystem is one of the planet’s most unique wildlife habitats, often dubbed ‘Africa’s Eden.’ Spend the day on a spectacular game drive across its diverse landscapes, from dense acacia forests and reed-filled swamps to expansive golden savannah. Here, you have an exceptional chance to spot the renowned Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino—all thriving within the crater’s protective rim.
