Closer, Yet Just as Epic: Unlike other Himalayan treks that require long travel days, Langtang is easily accessible from Kathmandu—meaning more time on the trail and less time on the road.
Cultural Immersion: Walk through Tamang and Tibetan-influenced villages, visit ancient monasteries like Kyanjin Gompa, and connect with warm-hearted locals proud of their heritage.
Incredible Mountain Views: Surround yourself with towering snow-capped peaks like Langtang Lirung, Dorje Lakpa, and Yala Peak. You’ll also witness stunning glaciers, waterfalls, and high alpine terrain.

Langtang Valley Trek
We set out on our second day of the voyage. Our trail proceeds along thick woods. Revel in the grand views of the Langtang-Lirung. Pass water factories, watch Chortens, and see stunning hills that have all kinds of engravings cut on them.
Overnight stay at guest house.
Kyanjin Gompa
We escape the town and pass through yak pastures. We also cross the biggest Mani divider in Nepal and cross a few wooden scaffolds as well. Since we are truly getting into the high elevations, you may begin to feel the thin mountain air. Kanjin Gompa is encompassed by the Himalayas all around. You can go out for a stroll around Kanjin Gompa appreciating the perspectives, ice sheets, ice falls, and yaks.

In the early morning, we visit Kyanji view (4,800/16,404ft) for stunning sunrise views. After breakfast, continue to Lama Hotel. Since it is downhill, it is a 4/5-hour stroll from Kanjin Gompa to get to the Lama Hotel. Pass ethnic Tamang settlements who take after religious and social views like the Tibetans.
Overnight stay at guest house.
We trek down to Syabrubensi, which takes a 5 hours walk. Enjoy the simple downhill trail through lush green vegetation. Upon arriving at Syabrubesi, we take our lunch. Since we may have some spare time (depending upon the speed of our walk) after we arrive here, you can enjoy the stunning view of this bizarre hill-town.

Just returned from an unforgettable trek through the Langtang Valley — and it wouldn't have been the same without our guide, biru. His deep knowledge of the area, warm personality, and constant support made the journey truly special. From organizing cozy teahouses to sharing local stories and ensuring our safety, biru went above and beyond every step of the way. The scenery was breathtaking, but it was biru guidance that made the experience truly enriching. Highly recommended

Completed the Langtang Trek with Nomad Mountain Club and it was an incredible experience! Our guide, Amrit, was knowledgeable, kind, and always ensured our safety and comfort. The views were absolutely breathtaking—from lush forests to snow-capped peaks. The local culture and warm hospitality made the journey even more special. Highly recommend this trek and especially Amrit as a guide. A perfect blend of adventure and authenticity.
