Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast, we head along the crater rim to Seneto Gate on the western side and descend into the Crater Floor on an adventures path – what an impressive view! The Ngorongoro Crater provides a home for a vast number of animals because of its reliable water availability. Animals frequently move in and out. The number of wildebeests and zebras increases during the dry season, whereas the numbers of elands, elephants and water-bucks increase during the wet season. Search for the ‘Big Five‘ – buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion and the black rhinoceros. The crater is one of the only two places in Tanzania where you can still observe the highly threatened back rhinoceros. After intensive game viewing, stop for lunch in the afternoon and in the late afternoon, proceed to your accommodation in Mto wa Mbu for dinner and an overnight stay.

Lake Eyasi
In the southwest corner of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area is the beautiful Lake Eyasi, a soda lake that is fed by the Sibiti and Baray Rivers. Visiting the Eyasi lake is a different type of safari experience from those that you may be familiar with from your other Tanzania wilderness excursions. The region around Eyasi is the home of the Hadzabe and Datoga communities who continue their ancient lifestyle of hunting-gathering and pastoralism respectively. Visits to the villages give you a personal, intimate look into the daily life of these peoples. You may be impromptu invited into their homes, learn about the family structures, participate in traditional dances, participate in bead making with the women, join the traditional small game hunting and gathering by the Hadzabe tribesmen, make bow and arrows, and much more. Early evening drive to Arusha for overnight.

Materuni Waterfalls
The tour guide will pick you up at the hotel and welcome you to the Chemka Hot Springs and Materuni tour. You'll proceed to Materuni Waterfalls, which are located under the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro. It is a very impressive waterfall, one of the tallest in the area, spewing crystal clear glacier water 70cm into the basin. The beautiful path leading to the waterfalls crosses valleys and hills covered by tropical rainforests, past coffee, bananas, avocados, and tree species. You will get a local lunch prepared by the Chagga community if you like. Afterward, you'll leave for Chemka Hot Springs. The road is bumpy, so driving takes more than 40 minutes. During the trip, you'll enjoy the wonderful scenery and see authentic Tanzanian life. You can swim, relax, eat your lunch, and enjoy the sun. After that adventure, as it is your last day, you will be driven to the airport or a hotel of your choice.

Our honeymoon safari in Tanzania was a truly wonderful start for our married life. Our arrival in Arusha was peaceful and we were very well received by Brian, from Kibo Mawenzi Safaris. The first night at the Arusha hotel with Brian provided a comfortable start to our journey. Our lodge was quiet, private, luxurious and perfect for couples. Our guide, Mayunga, was exceptionally experienced and his explanations were excellent. We were very satisfied and comfortable with him. First, we explored Tarangire National Park, which impressed us with its elephant herds and vast landscapes. Lake Manyara was calm and refreshing, with its lush vegetation and panoramic views. Mayunga spent time making sure we didn't miss any important sightings. The Serengeti was unforgettable. Spending two nights there allowed us to relax and appreciate the vast plains, the encounters with wildlife and the beautiful pores of the sun. Each safari was unique and exciting. The Ngorongoro Crater was one of the highlights of our trip, with stunning landscapes and an incredible concentration of animals. Finishing our trip in Zanzibar was the perfect way to relax and reflect on our adventure together. The beaches, the warm water and the quiet atmosphere were exactly what we needed. This safari was romantic, well organized and with exceptional hospitality. We recommend Kibo Mawenzi Safaris.

Climbing Kilimanjaro with Kibo Mawenzi Safaris was a great emotional experience in our life. Climbing Kilimanjaro in January 2026 was an exercise in doing less and feeling more. Less rushing. Less noise. Less distraction. More walking. More breathing. More presence. Our guide was very professional and friendly, even though he was a great hiker, his inspiration helped us. Our porters were heroes. They were very patient. The altitude slowed everything down, even our thoughts. Conversations became shorter, silences longer, and awareness sharper. I noticed how the light on the rocks changed, how the air felt different with each step, how silent effort transformed into patience. Summit night was what truly brought our bond to life. We walked slowly, stayed close, and supported each other without needing to say much. When we reached Uhuru Peak, it felt more like a collective victory than a personal achievement. Fantastic 7 day climbing experience, we will never forget.

Our wonderful 7-day trip with Kibo Mawenzi Safaris was a fantastic safari experience in Tanzania. This 7-day safari in Tanzania is a dream for nature lovers. My companion and I visited Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater, and each place seemed wild and preserved. The landscape of Tarangire was peaceful and serene, while the Serengeti, huge and vibrant with activity, seemed to us a real spectacle. The Ngorongoro crater was a masterpiece of nature, brimming with life and beauty. Every safari was pure happiness. The encounter with the Maasai people enriched our cultural experience, creating a deep link between man and nature. Their respect for the land and their traditions was a source of inspiration. Our guide, Joseph, was extremely competent and professional. His knowledge has given us a better understanding of the environment and made us feel like true explorers. The meeting with the Maasai people was deeply touching , their pride, traditions and way of life have left a strong impression on us.

Our 7 day Mount Kilimanjaro climb was carefully planned for safety, comfort, and successful adaptation to climate change, and the great responsibilities of effort from the Kibo Mawenzi team. Our guide was fantastic and friendly, and he was a very experienced professional climber with us. And with the support and guidance, we followed a steady pace designed to minimize the altitude-related challenges each day. A very challenging but somewhat easy climb was presented to us through his excellent guidance. Our experience demonstrated the importance of proper guidance, preparation, and respect for mountain conditions. Kilimanjaro is difficult, but with the right leadership, it became a rewarding and unforgettable journey. We were able to fully appreciate the beauty of the mountain in a respectful and meaningful way with Kibo Mawenzi, and the experience we gained on this trip was the greatest achievement of our lives.

Our perfect 7 days safari experience in Tanzania. We Our guide on his passion and knowledge made the experience richer, turning sightings into stories. The private 4x4 jeep was comfortable and well equipped, making long drives enjoyable. The first day with Mwangi Evans, and we felt genuine and well balanced. Tarangire introduced us to Tanzania's wildlife with elephants, zebras, and wide open spaces that felt peaceful and untouched. Serengeti was everything we imagined-raw, vast, and full of life. Seeing lions and cheetahs in their natural environment was a powerful experience. Ngorongoro Crater was breathtaking, both in beauty and in the sheer number of animals living within it. Lake Manyara provided a refreshing contrast with its green scenery and rich birdlife. Lake Eyasi added cultural depth, allowing us to slowly connect with the local community. The sight of Mount Kilimanjaro looming on the horizon was unforgettable. Carefully selected accommodations and full meals helped us relax and truly enjoy every moment of this authentic safari experience. We really appreciate the Kibo Mawenzi Safaris because they were a good tour maker.
