A lovely way to see a beautiful beach town environment, with history, architecture and a key to some of Brazil’s financial development. The coffee museum has a pleasant and easy to follow layout set in the original auction hall. Finishing with a satisfying cup of Brazilian coffee and options of desserts. Walk the beautiful beach with its bike paths, restaurants and gorgeous views of the harbour.

We did this as a shore excursion on our cruise with no problem walking to the tour meeting point. Group of 9, plus our excellent guide who spoke very clear English, was very happy to show us her city. Drove past the beautiful beaches to a vantage point in the south. Then a stop at the red "flying silk" sculpture and surf museum (they have lights for night surfing!) plus a skate park and a BMX park. Went up a funicular to another awesome vantage view point at a former casino. Drove past the SFC stadium where Pele got his startat age 17, on the way to the Orchard botanical garden, which was pretty cool though there weren’t any orchids in bloom at this time. Then lunch, where we had “pizza” empanadas. They were very good, and very fresh (we had to wait for them — other available “flavors” had been made in advance. Then the coffee museum, where we bought some coffee to share with the family the next time we’re all together. The museum displays were interesting. Our final stop was a visit to the Pele museum. All the while, our guide was filling us with information. Overall, a much better than average “bus tour”.

7-hour tour of Santos was amazing. We had a terrific guide..Maria..and she showed us so many different areas of the city with great knowledge and pride. She was full of information, but also was able to listen to our interests and somewhat tailor the tour based on those interests. The driver was very professional and capable as well. We finished the day feeling content about time well spent on this full-day tour. We highly recommend it!
