Museu Pele
Installed inside the 19th -century Casarões do Valongo, which were damaged by two fires and then completely rebuilt, the Pelé Museum exhibits shirts, football boots, balls, honors and awards, trophies, a football made of socks and a shoeshine box, among other items from the personal collection of "The Athlete of the 20th Century". There are 2,354 items in all, to be displayed in rotation, according to exhibition theme (the first is "4 Cups and 1 King). In the museum's 4,134 square meters the public can also enjoy audio presentations, films, photos and texts about the history of the "King" As well as this, there is an interactive space where visitors can test their ball skills and even compare them to Pelé's performance.
Estacao de Trem do Valongo
The Tram Line offers a true time travel across 40 points of historical and cultural interest. Departing from Valongo Station - the 1867 building of the first railroad in São Paulo - the 19th and 20th centuries trams run 5km in the Historic Center in about 40 minutes, in a script monitored by a tour guide. These are original vehicles from Scotland, Portugal and Italy that guarantee Santos the first International Living Tram Museum in Latin America. Motorists and drivers wear replicas of the original uniform from the time when trams were the main means of transportation in the city.

Our guide Issac was outstanding. His car was comfortable and he picked us up on time. He explained everything we saw and translated signs within each exhibit or site. He is an asset to the company. We wished he was our guide on all our tours.

Very enjoyable tour, for the sites covered. The six hour duration was too long for the sites visited, and additional sites should be included for the time and money. We felt the travel time between sites was deliberately extended, as a five minute journey in one direction was 30 minutes in reverse. The guide, Hendrick, was excellent, knowledgeable with good communication skills. He added a trip to a restaurant to fill in the time, which was very enjoyable, but only two couples from the six stayed for the meal, with the remainder wanting to be returned to the cruise terminal.

Not well organised. Tram ride OK but nothing to see. Coffee museum OK but nothing to see. Monte Serrat OK, just a view of Santos. Pele museum closed as building damaged, back to the ship at 2.30pm. Santos could be a real pretty place to visit if someone spent some money on renovating the old properties.

Our guide, Mauro, was excellent. He spoke English quite well and had a lot of information for us. Unfortunately, the Pele museum was closed so we didn't see that. The tramride around old Santos was nice, the coffee museum had a few interesting points. We had an excellent, and inexpensive lunch at a place with a beautiful view. I highly recommend this tour.
