5.00Barney was absolutely amazing! He made my mother and I feel so safe and secure with everything we did. We allowed us great timing to enjoy such a beautiful island and were very informative. I highly recommend him to anyone who wants to travel and is hesitant because he treats you like family!

5.00Our waterfall and monkeys tour was perfect in every way. Met our tour guide Paulino at the gate of the port where we introduced us to driver Juan in a large van meant just for our group of six. Everyone had tons of space to stretch out. They offered us bottled water, soda, and a few containers of freshly cut fruit. It was nice be on an excursion with just our family and two great guides. We had a short drive to the waterfalls, with Paulino letting us know about local geography, industry, and history. He pointed out a small town known for, among other things, their local cheese production. Waterfalls were great, although the park with a bit crowded with other groups… beyond the control obviously of our guides. We were ushered up the hill by the waterfall guides (our Paulino came along too), and had a great time sliding and jumping down the falls. Back at the main area for the waterfall park I met Barney, the tour group owner who I had messaged ahead of time to book the trip. He wanted to make sure we were doing well, great to see his personal attentiveness. Then we were off the Monkeyland for more fun. Had a great time there. Saw Barney again there, checking in on his groups to make sure everyone was happy. Since we were running ahead of schedule by a bit and had time for more before we had to be back to the cruise ship, Paulino offered to take us on a short city tour of puerto plata… which was very nice but all of us wanted to spend some time in the pool at the port so we asked to head back to the port. Remembering that one of my daughters was interested in trying some of the local cheese, on the way back to port we made a very quick stop at a road side cheese shop where Paulino treated us to some local cheese with garlic crackers, how nice! A few minutes later and we were back at the port. If you’re nervous about booking a private excursion while on a cruise - rest assured we had no worries about not making it back and had agreed to a flexible tour time ahead of our visit. This group was flexible, accommodating, safe, fun, professional, and friendly. Couldn’t recommend them enough!

5.005.Barney, Paulino and Alberto were Amazing I had a lot going on before my trip Barney stayed in contact with me he was so patient and nice he sent videos pictures and waited until I was ready to book made sure I had everything I needed to know exactly what I was doing which made me feel so much better going so far away!!! Paulino and Alberto taking us to the Waterfalls and Monkeys werè so informative and nice gave us drinks showing us sites such a welcoming experience we were taking my daughter and four friends on her Senior trip is why we were here in the Dominican Republic and they had an Amazing day because of the wonderful Gentleman we can't wait to come back and ride ATV's and go Shopping Thank you so much

5.005. Barney Paulino and Alberto were all Amazing. I had a lot going on before this trip. Barney stayed in contact was so patient and nice he sent me videos and pictures until I was ready to book. Paulino and Alberto were Amazing. Taking us to the waterfalls and Monkeys. We were my daughters senior trip with four of her friends. They all had a Great time. We can't wait to go back to go 4 wheeling and shopping with them♥️💜.

5.00We had an amazing experience with Barney from start to finish! He was friendly, professional, and clearly knew exactly what he was doing. He made it a priority to get us to the waterfall first, saying he wanted us to experience the “clean water.” At the time I didn’t fully understand—but wow, I sure did afterward! By the time we finished, there were thousands of people lined up. I’m so grateful we were first because it made the hike and waterfall experience so much more enjoyable. He even surprised us with water and fresh fruit, which was such a thoughtful touch. After the waterfall, we talked to others who booked through the cruise line and paid WAY more than we did—it definitely confirmed we made the right choice! Shortly after the hike, my 11-year-old started itching terribly—his legs were burning so badly he was in tears. Barney immediately took us to a pharmacy, where we found out it was “swimmer’s itch,” which is common in the Dominican Republic. The medication worked within minutes, and I had my happy boy back! We continued on to our monkey experience and had such a fun day. The entire time we felt safe, taken care of, and genuinely enjoyed every moment. Barney also made sure we got back with plenty of time before our cruise departure, even leaving us extra time to shop. Highly recommend Barney—he truly made our day unforgettable!

5.00We had the best time on our excursion! We had a group of 13 and split with 4 doing ATVs and 9 going to the waterfalls, then we met up at the monkeys! Everything was seamless with booking, finding our guide when arriving, and the excursions were so fun! My son is 8 and the waterfalls made me nervous having him go down the slides, but our guide stayed with him, caught him at the bottom, and made me sure we were all able to enjoy the day! Great people, amazing communication, and so much fun!

5.00We did waterfall + city tour in Puerto Plata. Totally worth the price and we felt safe the entire time. We had so much fun exploring, and he was so accommodating , he even took us back to the same spot twice during the city tour just because we loved it that much. Highly recommend this experience if you’re visiting Puerto Plata.
