What To Expect
Damajagua Waterfalls
We offer a time of hiking through thick forests, crossing bridges and discovering the Dominican flora, before reaching the rocky top of a hill from where you will begin your journey down, jumping or sliding down a series of waterfalls. Safety gear is a must as you slide down padded water slides, or jump into deep turquoise pools. The way from the tour station to the waterfalls is 40 minutes, we offer a tour of the 7 main puddles so that they have an unforgettable and not so exhausting experience, children must be 8 years old or older to be able to do those 7 puddles of otherwise they could only walk the 40 minutes and stay in the first.

5.00Our tour guide took good care of us and made sure we had a good time. They picked us up at the cruise port. It was a nice to see how coordinated they are when passengers arrive to get in their transportation. I did ask questions but it would be nice for the driver to tell us about their country on the way to the falls. Our tour took longer than expected but our guide made sure we were back in plenty of time for our cruise ship departure. The tour guide held my eye glasses safe when we got to the falls until we were done. The walk to the falls was a little warm with frequent breaks to rest. The water was cool enough to feel great. Wear water shoes, take a bottle of water with you, The lunch after the falls was good and we were able to see a plantation with explanations with what they grow. Highly recommend!

5.00Very nice activity. The guides are very professional and put animation throughout the activity. The scenery is beautiful of course. The falls and waterfalls are splendid and fun. The small starting walk to the summit is easy. Of course it is an ascent but not climbing. Dinner in the small Dominican restaurant is quite charming and delicious. Our driver is an angel. It explains throughout every interesting point of what there may be on the journey. Allow 5 to 6 hours for the total excursion. From the moment they pick you up from the hotel and back.

5.00Great experience all the way from pickup to drop off. Some of our group were a little motion sick, and Yeury made sure that they were always comfortable. Loved the Damajagua Falls experience! We had plenty of time at all the stops, including at the waterfalls, at lunch and at the fruit plantation. Best of all, no one pestered us for a review (unlike several other experiences we had elsewhere)!

5.00I recommend this trip! Aribel was fantastic! We had such a good day out, picked up from the taxi area at the cruise terminal we went out to the waterfalls whilst Aribel talked to us about all the local sights. He was knowledgeable and very funny which was a great way to start the day. The car was air conditioned and well looked after. The waterfalls was great, we had to rent shoes which weren’t the best so I recommend bringing your own water shoes for a more comfortable experience. The waterfalls were really fun and beautiful and everyone enjoyed themselves. We then stopped for a local lunch which was tasty and had some local beer too. Finally we went to a plantation to see some local crops and how they make cigars. All in all it was a fantastic day and Aribel was a great host! I highly recommend it!

4.00It was a great experience. A lot more hiking than you might think but not terrible about a mile and a half long. Period but the best part was the coming down. We have slides cool water in the sun was not burning down on us with the tropical trees all around Our tour guides Charley & Jose Luis were awesome. And you can even get your own personal paparazzi. Jackson took video of the entire event for us. I would definitely recommend this tour for all.
