Kanazawa Station
Start Point! Meet near the information center with the four sumo wrestlers which is within the station.
Asahi Funakawa
Arrive at the Spring Quartet! You can see all the flowers, cherry blossoms and mountains in the background. Walk around and enjoy the scenery and if you want lunch, stop by one of the stalls. This is also a great time to slow down and just relax.

5.00The tour was a really nice and easy way to visit some more remote locations without the hassle of having to do it all myself. The tour guide was really fun and did a great job. The places visited before shirakawa go I would maybe not have visited but were even more interesting than shirakawa-go itself! The group of people that went along were very nice and we had a drink afterwards!

5.00My husband and I had an absolutely lovely time on our tour with Mike and Fuji-San today! The cherry blossoms and mountains were absolutely breathtaking, and Mike was an incredibly kind and generous tour guide, explaining much about Japanese culture, as well as the Nissekiji temple and how it was connected to Japan’s integration of Buddhism. He was even kind enough to take many pictures of us along our tour, something we as a couple rarely have gotten on our trip! I really recommend booking this and enjoying some beautiful nature and history outside the usual route of Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto. Thank you so much, Mike! We hope to see you again in future!

5.00We had a great day! The combination of flowers and mountains were absolutely stunning, and there was a small but pleasant market by the viewing area - I can recommend the crepes. Also worth noting was that our guide, Mike, was incredibly personable and charming. A native English speaker, he gave us many valuable reccommendations; was highly knowledgeable about the area; spoke interestingly about Japan and her culture; and took nice photos of us to boot. The tour included hidden gems that we would not otherwise have seen, and not having done a temple tour before, it was very useful having someone describe and explain Buddhist beliefs with the inclusion of personal anecdotes - a much richer experience than when we had previously visited temples solo. I can absolutely recommend this tour if you're looking for a day out from Toyama.
