Jokulsarlon

Huge blocks of ice constantly break off the glacier, Breiðamerkurjökull, and large icebergs float on the lagoon. The lagoon is not very wide but it is up to 250 meters deep which makes it the deepest lake in Iceland. Breiðamerkurjökull is an outlet of the Vatnajökull glacier

Fellsfjara

The Diamond Beach is a strip of black sand located by Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon.Here, the icebergs which fill Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon wash up on shore, standing dazzling and defiant in stark contrast to the black sand beach.

The Snæfellsnes peninsula in the West of Iceland is almost like a miniature version of the entire island.The area has beautiful samples of some of the natural wonders Iceland is so famous for. This includes black beaches, magnificent mountains, volcanic craters, incredible birdlife, magical caves, and of course, the most picturesque glacier of them all, Snæfellsjökull. Raufarholshellir

Experience the natural phenomenon of Raufarhólshellir lava tunnels as you explore it in an easy and enjoyable manner. The 1360 metre (4500 ft) tunnel was formed during the Leitahraun eruption, which occurred about 5200 years ago and is a unique Icelandic natural attraction. A guide will lead you through Raufarhólshellir’s colourful landscape where the formation of the tunnel is highlighted with beautiful lighting.
