Seljalandsfoss is part of the Seljalandsá river, which has its origins in Eyjafjallajökull glacier. What makes Seljalandsfoss so famous and interesting is that you can walk behind it. We recommend you bring either a raincoat or a waterproof coat along if you want to walk behind it.

Vík is a charming village surrounded by high beautiful bird cliffs. Population: 300

Huge blocks of ice constantly break off the glacier, Breiðamerkurjökull, and large icebergs float on the lagoon. The lagoon is not very wide but it is up to 250 meters deep which makes it the deepest lake in Iceland. Breiðamerkurjökull is an outlet of the Vatnajökull glacier

We where close to the bus pick up. Stores, restaurants and a short walk to all in town. The tours where great we'll organize.

I went with my friend to Iceland and had an incredible time ! Blue lagoon is a must do! the scenery is unreal and it feels like i have landed into a different planet
