Upon arrival, you will have a short introduction followed by an introductory video about how the tunnels were constructed, and how the people survived in the harsh conditions of wartime.
Cu Chi Tunnels
Then, spend your time exploring the remaining area and tunnel systems, which included the living areas, kitchens, and bedrooms side by side with other martial facilities like storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers. All this was to help people living inside the tunnels meet their basic needs. Besides, there are many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels for security purposes during the war. Afterwards, special tea and cassava (guerilla food during the war) will be served.

The tours were well organized as per the schedule. A detailed itinerary was shared abs followed without any ambiguity. I had nothing to worry about as everything was taken care. A special shootout to Long Pham who was always reachable over a call and text. Overall experience was way above my expectations. I would highly recommend anyone to use the services. Nature, people, food and shopping was amazing.

We set up a custom itinerary with guide Hien Do. I give her my highest recommendation. We saw Hanoi, Hoi An, and Ho Chi Minh City/Saigon, each day wi the a private guide and transportation. The food was incredible, the hotels ranging from very nice to superb, and each guide was a warm and friendly ambassador for beautiful Vietnam. Hien handled all the arrangements, fine tuning our itinerary until it was just right. She kept in touch throughout the trip and made sure we had everything we needed. I plan to tell everyone to go visit Vietnam. You’ll be so glad you did.

We loved this trip. Realistic Asia handles all the details, pickups and drop offs, books hotels (all very very nice), and activities. They also customized the trip for us a little bit ( we wanted to add a food tour). Edna, our WhatsApp concierge while we were there and before, helped us with absolutely everything including visas, packing and planning, and all trip details. She was quick and thorough, answering whey question we had and helping work out all details. Sooo helpful. We would not hesitate to recommend realistic Asia. Our favorite things were hoi an lanterns, the Saigon food tour on scooter (do not miss this) and the ban vi eco tour out or Hanoi.

This was an amazing holiday. The hotels were excellent including delicious breakfasts. Our tour guides were wonderful. They went out of their way to make us comfortable. They were very knowledgeable. I learned so much about Vietnam. One guide has been doing this for so long he had friends in the villages we visited. We were invited into homes meeting local families. The lunches that were included were delicious and huge. I highly recommend realistic Asia. Long Pham kept in touch and assisted us when we had questions or concerns. We left an iPad in our first pickup from the airport and the driver brought it to our hotel.

We had a great trip. You can't do more in 8 days. The price is great for what you get. All the tours were well organized with friendly guides. Everything worked out, the drivers were on time and we always had someone to contact via WhatsApp. That was very reassuring for me. Thank you for that and for the great experiences we were able to have. It certainly won't be the last time.
